My office space is very plain and functional. It doesn’t express my style or me at all and the reason is that is a part of my living area. Our home is an old cabin that was built in the 70s and the living room, dining room, and kitchen are all one large open room. Sounds great? WRONG! I really wish the spaces were more defined. I have tried really hard to do just that seemed to have failed in my office area. When I was searching for new companies and products t bring you I came across Tatutina and discovered a company that had just what I needed to define my space and make it all my own.
Tatutina is a unique company that has some very unique painted gifts. I love their motto:
Happy painted gifts for a happy lifestyle.
The truth is that is actually hard to not feel happy when you are looking at their items which include: bookend sets, everyday kids medals, take out menu boxes, and much more. Started in 1979 Tatutina is now a mother-daughter ran company based in New England.
I was sent a sent of Wooden Letters that are whimsical and fun. While these letter clearly are designed for use in children’s spaces I immediately recognized their potential. Why couldn’t something this fabulous be used in any room you wanted? The answer was a simple, they could. Each letter is approximately 7″ tall with a keyhole hook on the back and each one has at least two design (color/patterns) options to choose from.
So I asked that they spell out “Office” and hung them in my office area. They wall had nothing but the clock hanging there before. I had originally wanted to hang them over my desk but my paneled walls have very little behind them and hubby suggested hanging them up and down on a stud in the wall. They ended up looking so great and really make my space all mine. The colors are bold and fun and I could not be happier!
