We’re thinking about moving to get the kids in a better school district. When we first moved to this county it seemed like the schools would be fine but the longer we live here the less beneficial we think the public schools here are. There are some good ones down the road in Heath but it’s going to be tough to pick up and move our whole life – we’re starting small by working with a REALTOR to look at houses and talk to people about Heath Texas – Reliant Prices for the electricity and whatnot. I just don’t want to give the kids a subpar education because we don’t want to deal with the hassles of moving our house – it’s not like we can’t find this kind of house somewhere else.
My husband and I aren’t all that into architecture and neither of us need to live close to town. We like the quiet and land that comes with suburban living and I know that one day our kids will be grateful they grew up with a big backyard and going to a school where they didn’t have to worry about violence or cheating scandals and whatnot. Do you know that at their current elementary school they’ve had four different principals in only 2 school years? That’s unheard of! There’s just some serious corruption that needs to be dealt with in the county we live in now and it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon so my husband and I think it’s about time we took matters into our own hands. I really like where we live and I’m going to miss all my friends from the neighborhood but at the end of the day we have to do what’s best for our children and this just may be it. Who would have thought the house we live in determined so much about the rest of our life? If I had known I would have researched more before we bought this place.
