Relax Outdoors with Brylane Home

As you all know I live in the South and we love to sit on the porch. Okay that is sort of a stereo-type but honestly we do sit on the porch a lot. My front porch leaves a lot to be desired and is not that large. We have two rocking chairs out there (another stereo-type but hey!) Our back porch is the area that I am slowly trying to make into something spectacular. Now thanks to Brylane Home I will be spending time relaxing and reclining out there.

Extra Wide Textured Vinyl Outdoor Cushioned Recliner

They sent me their Extra Wide Textured Vinyl Outdoor Cushioned Recliner in Orange (it is available in Taupe as well but is currently on back order.) This is a great chair! It is regularly $399.99 but right now is on sale for $199.99 and since it is Extra Wide it has a 350 lb. capacity which is great for our family as I have some heavier family members who will be visiting this summer. I am really loving the high back and the orange color is so vibrant that I think it is so perfect for my porch. It really needs some color.

Putting the Chair Together

It was really easy to put together although I wished the pictures were a little better in the instructions but hey what can you do. It took me about 30 minutes to get it all together by myself which really isn’t bad considering I am a bit mechanically challenged. Everything comes in one large box and I must warn you that white foam will get everywhere so have your vacuum ready. I tried to keep it to minimum but there was no stopping it.

Covered Chair

Once I got it together I moved it out to the porch. I put it together inside the house because it is already a good 95 degrees here and I didn’t want to be out there sweating to death. The chair comes with a cover which is great because you can keep it looking fabulous longer if you use the cover. We keep ours covered when we aren’t out there using it just to help it beautiful and lasting longer.

I think this chair is great! I love how it reclines and has the leg rest. I have seen Brylane’s other chairs and didn’t notice this one. It would be perfect for my mother She loves to sit on her deck in the afternoon but needs to keep her feet up. Thanks for the review!

What a great chair, I’m hoping pretty soon I’ll be able to get some new furniture inside and oustide. I’ll definitely check out Brylane Home.

I like that it is extra wide and I would of preferred it in taupe, but the cushioning looks so comfy and would be great on my patio. Love bringing the comfort of indoors outside.

I love this chair and I really love that it has a cover, such a great idea to keep it from getting too dusty.

I love the color of this chair and it looks very comfortable. I also like the footrest area on those lazy days when you want to kick back and relax.

That is a BEAUTIFUL chair – my screened porch is very jealous. Not a bad price for a recliner, either.

That looks so cute and comfortable! I really like the color; it’s so nice to see something a little more interesting than the usual neutrals. The cover is a great addition, as it can be such a pain searching for something that’s the right fit.
