Your forward-thinking letter is very inspirational, and you’ve got me thinking about what I’d like to tell my future self. Actually, getting outside and walking every day are goals I’ve set for myself, too. Being in touch with the natural world does wonders for my mental health, and the mild exercise is good for my physical health, too. Good luck with your resolutions!

I like the idea of writing goals. I typically think of them but don’t write them down. I like then having a check-in at the end of the year to see what I’ve done with them.

I always put myself last hen in fact I shouldn’t. My husband had been quite ill and all the focus was on him. There were times I was so tired or so stressed I dont know how I made it. It still carries on. I try and at least remember vitamins, but usually forget .

I love the connection to the mental, spiritual, emotional, social and physical health aspect. It reminds me of Stephen Covey’s last habit of Sharpening the Saw.
