It’s Wishful Wednesday again and this week my wish is a pretty simple Mother’s Day Wish. I wish that each and every one of you, regardless of where you are in the world, have a beautiful day. Too many times we get caught up in the gifts and other things during any given holiday. We want to take the time to show our mother’s how much we love them but we get so crazy about it.
I remember not too many years ago I went through so much trouble to set up the best possible day for Ma. The problem was the harder I tried to make it perfect the more it fell apart. At the end I was in the bathroom in tears and no one really had any fun. I got overbearing and everyone else just plain got my nerves. I have learned from that mistake and now I only plan some gifts for her. What everyone else does or doesn’t do is on them. I do make dinner unless she has plans with one of my siblings.
This year I have a great card for her and I will make sure to post it on Instagram at least when it comes in. So make sure that you are watching for it. It is perfect and I know that you will agree with me. I also got her some great gifts. One of them is a ring that has coordinates inspired on it. They are for the cemetery where my father was laid to rest. More specifically to his actual plot. I had a friend of his from the Army head out there and get them for me. It couldn’t be more perfect.
