Have I got a subscription box for all of you! It is called QuocoNow (Cook Now) and each month you will receive tools that every chef (or want to be chef) will love. I didn’t know that a box this amazing even existed.
I love trying new tools in the kitchen. Anything that will help me make amazing meals and maybe make things a little easier. Take a look out my unboxing as I go through what all came (including the awesome box it came in!):
I got two boxes from QuocoNow (one for a giveaway which I will tell you about in a bit) and instead of opening both I just picked one and opened it. I wanted to not only be surprised myself but also for the winner to be surprised.
I didn’t have a knife sharpener prior to this one. Don’t ask me why but I didn’t. I needed one too since I was getting ready to throw out all of my knives and buy new ones. I knew that you needed to sharpen them but I had no idea how to do that. Luckily this little tool is super handy and makes getting the job done a breeze.
I needed this phone/tablet holder! I hate when I am following a recipe or Face-timing with my sister and have to look down at my phone on the counter. It always ends up messy when I use it that way. This allows me to put it in a better position and makes following the recipe much easier. I also have used this for my book when I am waiting for the water to boil on the stove and need to get in a little reading.
I have several digital thermometers but always need more. Mostly because I can never find the things when I need them. This one is one of the better ones I have ever used. It is really easy to use and the numbers are easy to read. Well, when I my glasses on but that is just me. I use these when I am cooking on the grill the most. I sucked at that so this helps.
This veggie spiralizer is another gadget that I don’t own. I never had any need for one or so I thought. One end will make noodles while the other end allows you to make ribbons and chips. It does come with a cleaning brush that I didn’t care for but again that’s probably just me and my OCD. I used this to make carrot chips for my beef stew last night and I can tell you it made cooking them so easy. I didn’t have to wait for hours since they were thinner.
