As you all know I have been working on a bridal shower and have most of the party supplies I needed but then there are always those couple of things that you find you need after you get everything else. Thank heavens for Shindigz! I mean I had the plates and napkins and the decorations but there was something I needed. At the time I just didn’t know what it was. Shindigz was so wonderful enough to provide me with a gift code to use as I needed. While searching their site I quickly discovered what I was missing and ordered.

Celebrate Express

I have been working on a friend’s bridal shower and when it came time to get the party supplies I decided I would use her colors as the main theme. I had worked with Celebrate Express in the past and was thrilled that they were willing to work with me again and help me out.  Celebrate Express is one of my favorite party supply companies. Everything is so well laid out on the site. I can shop by occasion  such as weddings or by theme such as Disney Princess. They also have things divided up by Boys and Girls. When things are laid out well and in an easy to navigate it makes shopping so much more fun.

Summer Grilling with Applegate Hot Dogs

The summer season is in full swing which means  family cookouts and barbecues (or fiestas!) When you have children around it can mean there are lots of hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill. We don’t do a lot of hotdogs for so many different reasons but mostly because of what is in them. Then I was introduced to Applegate Farms. Applegate takes pride in their meats including their hotdogs.

Applegate, understands the importance of health as well as quality when it comes to their meats. They don’t use any antibiotics or hormones on their animals. Their hot dogs are also nitrite free. They are all about natural and organic! Which makes me a HUGE fan! My kids will be thrilled as well because now they can go back to enjoying hotdogs without getting nasty looks from me.

Monster Jam Birthday

My four-year old nephew is a Monster Jam freak! He loves all things Monster Jam. He not only knows the name of every single truck but can tell you which one is which and can spell some of them. He has drawers of the trucks and if one is missing he knows it. It is really super cute. So this year when his mom asked him what kind of birthday party he wanted this year he quickly said Monster Jam. So I set out to find some Monster Jam items for him. I was lucky enough to find a contact who was so wonderful! We are eternally grateful to Monster Jam for the wonderful things they sent.

Edible Details Giveaway

When you are planning a birthday party, wedding, baby shower or other event one of the first things you think of is the cake (or cupcakes.) Have you all seen the prices of those things theses days? My family calls me to bake any cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. While I openly admit that my cakes are fabulous, my decorating skills leave something to be desired. I am not bad and will throw an entire cake in the trash before letting someone see one that looks bad.
That was before I discovered Edible Details! I have fallen in love with this company. I can bake all the cakes and cupcakes I want and ice them simply. Then I add these fabulous fondant characters and my great cake because a fabulous cake. Yes that is fondant! I couldn’t believe it either. There are so much you can do.

Brittany, the artist behind Edible Details has been working with cakes and cupcakes for 5 years. She graduated from “Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School” and has worked along side Beryl Anne Byrd in San Diego, CA in her cake shop “Just Fabulous Pastries”.  Brittany also competed on TLC show “Ultimate cake off” twice last year.
