Hispanic Heritage on Demand {Giveaway}

Diversity on Demand

Hispanic Heritage Month is upon us and for me it is important that my children are exposed to their heritage. I want them to know that their Hispanic Heritage is just as important as their American. We are a wonderful blend of many different things. To help me expose them to as much as possible the nation’s top cable companies, partnership with The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), are presenting programs and movies via cable’s On Demand service all month long. These movies and programs feature compelling Hispanic figures and events.

“Hispanic Heritage Month is significant because it calls upon the Hispanic community to share our culture and rich traditions with the entire country. We’re proud of our longstanding partnership with the cable industry because it provides an opportunity to share positive images of Latinos and allow viewers to watch compelling stories that tell the history and celebrate the many contributions Latinos have made,” said LULAC National President Margaret Moran.

Spring Into Summer Giveaway Event: Tchirts.com

Tchirts.com is one of the great sponsors for my Spring into Summer Giveaway Event. I received two shirts from them and Simon, my contact, was wonderful. He had me measure myself to be sure that my shirt fit. You don’t get that kind of service often.

I received 2 shirts from Tchirts.com. The first was for myself and the second is part of the grand prize basket for my Spring Into Summer Event! How cool is that? First let me tell you all about my shirt.

My Ay Caramba!, which means something like Holy cow! in English, tee is super! I love it. It fit wonderfully and the graphic couldn’t be better.  I love the Spanish phrase as well. Those who don’t speak Spanish always stop and ask me what it says.  I also love that it is a woman’s cut. Lots of times tees are just basic and end up being big enough for a man . I love the woman’s fit and this was more than perfect. It washed very well. i hang my tees up to dry to prevent shrinkage so I don’t know how it will do in the dryer.

Tchirts.com has a wide variety of shirts for both men and ladies. They are based in Canada but all of their shirts Spanish themed which I of course love. They even some very funny Spanglish shirts. you don’t have to speak or even understand Spanish to appreciate these shirts. When I was looking for the best shirt that just screams “Yes!!! I love Spanish!!” Tchirts.com is the company that I not only found but so very pleased to have the honor of working with them.

{PROS} Beautiful shirts, love the graphics, the company is great, website is very easy to navigate

{CONS} That I can only wear one shirt at a time.

Viva Greetings

Being married to a Mexican man I am always looking for cards and things to send to his family . The problem is most cards are written in English and I want my in-laws as well as my husband to be able to read the card and understand its meaning. Although Edgar speaks English some words and pharses still give him trouble and his family doesn’t speak any English. that’s why I was so excited to find Viva Greetings, they sell Spanish cards and more. Carla, the owner, was wonderful! She sent me several cards to review and best of all I found out Viva Greetings is located here in Georgia, so I will be making a trip there when I’m able.

I love the Letterpress Cards! There are plenty to choose from as you will see from the pictures. Showing all the pictures would fill this post so I picked some of my favorite ones.

This one is great! I stuck in Edgar’s luch one day. It says I love you a lot.
These are also great. they are called Pick Line cards. They have the English translation underneath them. Another in the lunch one.

I sent this one to my mother in-law. It’s a Lady of Guadalupe and very beautiful.

This says “kisses” I haven’t used it yet but I love it!

Viva Greetings also has notecards. Their notecard selection is beautiful and fun. Viva Greetings carries so much more than just notecards and letterpress cards. They also have wrapping paper, box sets, Day of the Dead stuff, and so much more. So if you are looking for something different or in need of some Spanish items head over to Viva Greetings.

{PROS} Spanish!!! Unique and fabulous items.

This is a Pan dulce Magent set!
