2 Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Adults

Don’t worry it won’t be weird! How many of you struggle with what to put in adult stockings for Christmas? I always do when I am the one in charge of doing those. I flounder somehow. With kids, it is a breeze but adults don’t always want the standard candy or small toys. So I went in search of ideas for the grownup and I found two that might just be unique enough for them to say you are the best. Of course that could leave the job up to you every year so it may not be a win if you hate it! 

So we have all the standard fair that goes into stockings; candy, trail size products, razors, hair accessories, and other little things. I don’t know about y’all but I try to add in one or two items that speak to the owner of said stocking. Like for Ma I would add a couple of those little dancing solar flowers. She loves those things and it would make her stocking unique to her. 

COFFEE & ACCESSORIES

If you have a coffee lover in the group (and lets face who isn’t) then a small bag of coffee would be perfect. If you aren’t sure about the blend of coffee they love the most then how about some espresso cups or a frother. These gifts are also great when you have to Secret or Dirty Santa. On a side note even if you want to give coffee but worry about the blend, I say give it anyway. It could be a blend they haven’t had a chance to sample and love it. 

ESSENTIAL OILS

Another great idea is to buy wholesale essential oils and fill those stockings with all of the wonderful scents. Maybe someone has a high stress job and needs a little chamomile to help relieve the stress. These sort of things assures the receiver that you care about them. Taking the time to make sure someone is taken care of, even if it is through an essential oil. I love the smell of  lemon oil. It reminds me so much of a clean house and I always feel better when I smell it. Some days when I’m just not feeling it I will sprinkle a little diluted lemon around and feel better. Another is cinnamon around the holidays. Every walk past one of those brooms in the store and it just reminds you of Christmas? Well, I make my own each year and it is so wonderful. 

As you can see wither of those items would be different and unique. They will make your stockings stand out. May even get you the title of best gift giver. If you are torn you could do both or maybe a coffee essential oil? Yep, there is a coffee essential oil. Although I haven’t used it personally.
