I am a bit of a planner and journal freak! I have several and I can’t begin to tell you how many I go through during the year as my needs change. So, when Saint Belford agreed to send me their 2019 Curation Journal I was super excited. I mean this may be the one planner that I use all year, who knows. It is certainly full of useful spaces. I will admit that my sister saw this and wanted it so bad. While there is so much that I love about the journal I think it may very well find itself in her presents pile this year. Trust me when I say that chic needs it far more than I do. She will drive off and forget her kids so she needs all the help she can get.
It’s true! She takes several classes and attends various meetings. She is always running late and forgets birthdays until she has to write the date down. This journal will help her so much and when you see all of the pages you will understand why. The 2019 Curation Journal is a hard bound book. Typically I don’t do those sort of journals or planners. However you can get a cover for it to make it look prettier and give you some room to put receipts or other items. I think my brother ordered a cover so that we could give coordinating gifts this year. Cause we are nice like that!
When you open it up you have a little note of inspiration and a mission statement to tell you more about the journal itself. It’s a good way to start the new year fresh!
You get a large monthly view with holidays already listed. They are highlighted in grey which is something that I love. There is more than enough room within each square to write all sorts of things. If you write large you will have more than enough room. My sister doesn’t, she has a serial killer kind of handwriting. I swear she does! ?
There is a monthly expenses and budget section. You can keep track of all your spending, saving, or whatever. I love the progress bar along the bottom. I know this will help my sister because she doesn’t do anything to track her spending. In fact, her bills come out as automatic payments so she doesn’t forget them.
Each weekly pages gives you space to add in what you need to get done with some lines for notes or whatever.
You also have Weekly Menus, a Drawing Board for whatever notes or doodles that you want and more.
FINAL THOUGHTS
First, I know I sounded a little harsh on my sister. She has ADHD and we give her a hard time about all it sometimes. We do it all in love and she knows that. All of that said I genuinely believe that this journal/planner will help her have a much more productive new year. If I didn’t I wouldn’t even bother to give it to her.
