Mother’s Day is fast approaching and I don’t know about all of you but I still have no idea what to get Ma. Thank goodness for JCPenney because without their suggestions I would be lost. I have things narrowed down to three items and I am hoping you all will share which of the three you like the best. Kind of help a gal out a little please.
I came to the final three by checking out the JCPenney Mother’s Day Gift Hub this morning. To be honest I’m surprised I got that done this early. Usually I am running around still unsure the day before. Ma is really difficult to shop for. One think she will like something and then you never see her wear it. The worse is when we do a clean out of her closet and discover gifts still in their packages because she didn’t like them but didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
First up is the Liz Claiborne Real Fit Satchel! Ma loves new handbags and I think she would like the print on this one. There are other color choices but this one is fresh. It just scream spring and this puppy has seven pockets. I don’t what you put into seven pockets inside a handbag but I’m I could fill them. I haven’t used a bag this small in I can’t remember when.
Next up is the Royal Velvet Luxury Egyptian Cotton Towels which truthfully Ma needs. They look so fluffy and nice. The one thing that has me unsure is the fact that she needs these. They seem like such a housewarming gift rather than a Mother’s Day gift. Not to mention I will most likely give them to her only to have not use them. We aren’t gonna even discuss the washcloths that I bought last month that are still in their packaging.
Finally there is the Thirtystone Urban Farm Mango Wood Tray. This I love for myself! 🙂 Ma could use this in her bedroom on her dresser to hold candles or even bottles that she has in there. It is different and something that I am pretty sure she would actually enjoy. I know this is more or less for the kitchen but like I said I can see it in her bedroom. It would give her dresser a little character.
Do you know what you are getting your mother or mother in-law? Any suggestions for me that maybe I haven’t thought of? What do you think of the above three products? I know that is a lot of questions but a girl needs all the help she can get.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
