30 Days of Me

Day 12 — Your sibling(s) I have three siblings; two brothers and a sister. I am the oldest girl and second born, it actually goes my older brother, then me, then my sister, then my younger brother. My younger brother is very spoiled thanks to me. I do everything he tells me to do and he takes great pleasure in that.

I’m not getting he tells me to get him something to drink and I do. The reason for this is that I helped take care of him when he was little and we all always gave him his way. In fact when I think about it we all do what he tells us to do. This is a picture of the four of us in 1985. That’s right my hair was blonde was I was little. That’s me on the end, next to me is my younger brother, my older brother is standing, and my sister is looking up at Santa smiling (you can see her head before my older brother.)

  1. I too catered to my little brother five years younger than I. So much so that he called me “I” instead of my name. Of course from my saying all the time, “I will do it”!

  2. I have one sibling, she is 7 years older than me. We are nothing alike as you can imagine, I mean in no way. I still love her though.

  3. Cute picture! I have a younger step sister & step brother from my moms ex husband. I have 2 younger half sisters and one older half sister. So in total 4 sister and 1 brother oh boys it gets confusing.

  6. I have 2 brothers and two sisters, we are all very united but I we all pretty much spoil more our youngest brother…but he´s just adorable .

  7. There are 5 of us kids. I have one brother and three sisters. Like you we all catered to my youngest sister. She is beyond spoiled.

  8. I have one biological brother, 1 half brother, 4 step brothers, 2 step sisters, 2 brother-in-laws, and 2 sister-in-laws.

  10. I’m the youngest of 7 myself. I think I grew up a little spoiled, but not so much now. I’ve worked hard in grad school and now work as a professional in my community. I also have volunteered helping others as well, which feels great and humbling. I always find a way to give back and utilize the gifts God has given me.

    I have 3 sisters and 5 brothers. We are lucky to all live within an hour and half of each other. That doesn’t happen much these days. I could not imagine one second of one minute of one hour of one day without any of my family. We used to fight some when little but I can say I have not had ONE single fight or upset of any kind with any of my sisters since I was a teen. As kids I remember it was chaos in a family that big and we did goof around a lot, the girls got sassy and minor quabbles, but when each older sib left, one by one, it left a heartache behind. Life if different when they grow up and leave. I am number 7. Two brothers younger and yes the baby of the family usually gets more spoiled, but my younger two brothers didnt have it easy at all. I am proud all of them all grew up with big hearts, good work ethics and family minded. Lucky for sure I am!
