Day 18 — Things you want to say to 5 different people. Wow! Only 5? Actually this is not as hard as I had thought. Choosing the five people is pretty easy and I will keep the things I want to say to minimum.
1.) My Dad: I miss you everyday and wish that you were here to tell me I am doing things right.
2.) Edgar: I thank God for you each and every day and I love you more today than I did the day we met.
3.) My Children: I thank God for blessing me with you and hope that you don’t require too much therapy when you are grown.
4.) My Mom: I am grateful that you are my mom. Had God given me an easy mother I would not be half the woman I am today.
5.) God: I am so grateful to you for this life, all of the struggles, and challenges that you have had me face has sown me that I have a strength I could never imagine inside of myself. I know that the road ahead is long and the path is rocky I know that the hopes and prayers I have will be answered because through you all things are possible.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I would tell Daniel, Stella, Karin, Ivy, and Eva how very proud I am of each of them and their remarkable achievements. They are truly amazing.
If I could say one more thing, I’d tell my son’s 7th grade principal, who predicted my son’s failure, that my son is now a doctor. (Maybe that’s a little bit vengeful and boastful, and I’m sorry for that, but I had a great many frustrations when my son was in school–maybe some other moms will understand.)

You’re message to God is very inspiring!

Let’s try that again: “Your” message to God is very inspiring!

These notes are such a good idea. I wonder if you should send them directly to the recipient or save them as in a journal entry. Journaling is always a good way to safely express yourself.

Some how I missed this day. I love your choice of people. Mine would be very similar. I don’t think we can tell those around us how much we love and appreciate them too much.
