Yep you read that correctly! I think that looking through the lens of a camera is sweeter than Christmas morning. I am certain that this is because I have gotten older and Christmas morning now holds more work than it does joy but hey it happens! Now I know that statement sounds so crazy but I’m not a child anymore and while is Christmas is great there just isn’t that oomph there once was. Let me share with you my 5 Reasons Looking Through the Camera Lens is Sweeter Than Christmas Morning!
No Wrapping Paper Everywhere
As the person who has to clean up all of that paper you can see why this would be one of reasons. With a camera the only paper laying around is the paper that you put there. There isn’t a giant mess and I can have as much time as I want to do whatever I want. The paper everywhere is a bit of a sore subject for me.
A New View
There is nothing better than when you look through the lens of your new camera. You see things that you may not have seen before and the whole world looks bright and shiny. Sometimes a look through the lens can give us the new perspective that we need.
You Control It
One of the great things about looking through a camera lens is that the images can be style and well put together. You don’t have to settle for natural if that is not what you are wanting. However if you are you can go as natural as your little heart desires.
Subjects Change
There are so many different things that you can photograph. That is one of the best reasons for looking through the lens of a camera. You can take pictures of your kids, the landscape, you name it.
Christmas Memories Preserved
That’s right you can preserve your Christmas memories through photographs! Of course you can do that with all of the holidays just as well. Not to mention birthdays, anniversaries, first tooth, first haircuts, you get the idea!
