Can you believe there are only 98 sleeping days til Christmas? I have begun my planning for the holidays since I have to plan so much both in my life and on the blog. I thought I would share a few of those plans with you all and maybe even get a few ideas from you about things you would like to see here or party planning tips.
On the Blog
During December I will have a week of recipes leading up to Christmas Eve. I thought it would be a great way to share some of the foods that I would be preparing for our holiday meal. Not to mention you all already know how much I love to cook! I also have a few days of Stocking Stuffer ideas that will be sharing with you. I am going back and forth on whether or not I want to do a Holiday gift Guide this year or not. I was thinking of maybe putting together a post of my favorite things and sharing those with you. What do you all think?
In Life
Well we have a huge holiday get together each year where we celebrate both Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is easier than deciding who goes where on what holiday and all of the family is able to be together. I am the chef for these events which means I have to start planning them right away. this year we will be spending Christmas with my brother and his family which means there are several holiday dinners and events that we will all be attending. I will of course be sharing all of the action during these events with all of you.

I love Christmas..it’s my favourite time of the year..but times is going much too fast..I’m looking forward to your recipes..I love new recipes
I agree time seems to be flying by. Christmas is my favorite holiday as well.
I think that it is a great idea to have both holidays together. I would love to see holiday gift guides and stocking stuffer ideas. New recipe ideas are always great! I like to make homemade items for my family like sometimes I will make homemade granola for my mom, handmade crafts are always nice to give as well. Sounds great!
The holidays together just make things easier for everyone. I love to make things as well for gifts.
It seems like this summer has zipped by, especially August! Can’t believe Christmas is so close already! Tech giveaways, especially for the holidays, are always fun.

Wow, I can’t believe it’s so close! I’m extra excited about the holiday season this year because we’re expecting our first child January 1st! I definitely need to get my shopping done early this year!

I like the idea of hearing your favorite things! I just sent out a check to book a ladies day of shopping out of state. It’s the first Saturday of November and we often find Christmas presents that day.

This year has flown by!
This year went by so fast, I can’t believe it’s already almost over. But I’m excited for Christmas. It’s my favorite time of year.

It is not to early to plan for Christmas. There are so many things that need to be done and getting it all planed out early for me is necessary! I like the idea of you sharing recipes! I always like trying something different over the Holidays.
I try to adjust recipes and try new things for the holidays. With so many people and different events it really helps me to start early. Plus this year we will be traveling so I have a lot to plan.

I cannot believe that we are already talking Christmas. Ugh. That means summer is almost over. Double Ugh. I do love the holiday season. I, like you, am the chef for most of the meals and I love planning the food and seeing how much people enjoy it. So much fun.
Summer will officially be over this coming week when fall begins. I too love planning food and then watching everyone enjoy it.
Not looking forward to the lack of shopping funds this year but you reminded me that the holidays are about family and together time. and lots of great food to enjoy!
That is just what they are. In fact at our holiday dinner this year we are not exchanging gifts. The expense is just too great and we want to celebrate the holiday and family not what we are getting.
Seems like it rolls around faster every year. I don’t like starting too early with the preparations. Everybody seems to rush the holidays and it takes away from the specialness of the season.
It does seem like every year it gets here quicker and quicker. Next year I most likely have to start in May because that is how early the stores will have stuff out. By December we will be onto Halloween of next year. ;p
This year I’m going to try to focus more on family time and experiences rather than presents. Hoping for less stress and more joy this year!
98 days? I dont even want to think about it. I am not ready and wont be for maybe 99 more days iff even them. I know I know, but here it means snow and cold and the in general slippery and icy times.
Wow I can’t believe only 90 days until Christmas. I would love to see some toy reviews for school aged kids.

I can’t believe that Christmas is basically right around the corner! My husband and I are hosting Christmas for the first time for his family, I’m on the lookout for any tips that will make it go smoothly!
I dunno! I can’t think about this yet. I haven’t even carved a pumpkin yet this year!

It’s going by very quickly, but thankfully the weather here in Northern New England has cooled down but is still warm and pleasant. Winter will be here before we know it, and so will the holidays. I usually shop all year round, but this year think I am going to wait until the holiday season hits since I love online deals on Thanksgiving day and then heading out for Black Friday shopping afterwards.
