My living is in need of something and since I am not really sure what it is I figure a rug is just the ticket. A rug can be changed whenever and gives things a fresh new look. Mohawk Rugs is probably one of the most recognized names in flooring around and I love their products. They are made in America!

Tropical Acres Select Strata Rug

I was sent a 5′ x 8′ Tropical Acres Select Strata Area Rug to update the look of my living room and I will say that I am so thrilled with it. It arrived very quickly and I was thrilled when it didn’t weigh a ton and I was able to put it down on my own. My living room is carpeted but it is done in the ugliest brown carpet I have ever seen and so needed a new look.

As you can see my living room has a sort of rustic look. Actually all of the furniture was given to me when I first got married and I am still in the process of updating everything (another story and a ton of therapy.) I hate that brown carpet but replacing all of it is such a big expensive job.

That is why I am thrilled by this new look with my new Tropical Acres Select Strata Rug from Mohawk Rugs. As you can see it made such a huge difference in the look of the whole room. It is much brighter and I chose this pattern because it has the colors that I will be covering the furniture in very soon.

While I am loving my new rug I am afraid that someone is going to stain it up. Recently when we had a party I took the rug so no one could walk on it. I know I am crazy but that is okay.   38. When I think MOHAWK, I always think of rugs. But on site they do have hardwoods too and have two new products this year. I would be interested in the Hickory line. We desperately need to replace our 30 + year old kitchen floors and the carpets are over 15 and so run down by a large family.

    I have heard awesome things about hickory flooring, and although they had more “selling points” on site, the ones I hold most high on this product is:
