Each day I take a few moments and spend them in a quiet prayer. As a Catholic saying the rosary is very important to me and this particular one is very special. My mother gave me this after my father passed away. It was to replace the beautiful one my Grandmother brought back from Medjugorje and had changed colors during the plane ride home. I put it in with my father as it somehow seemed appropriate.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I have always loved Rosary beads, granted I don’t quite “understand” how they “work” – I would love to learn more about them.
Rita says
Fee, keep watching and I will share with you how the rosary works.

How does Wordless Wednesday work? I have seen other blogs participating as well — do you just post a picture?
Rita says
Yes you just post a picture about anything you want. Some of them have a theme, ours doesn’t really. Then we add our links and share them. It is not suppose to have any words with it but many of us just can’t help but add a sentence or two.

This is a lovely thought. Sorry for the loss of your father, no matter how long ago it was. That’s a beautiful Rosary by the way.
Rita says
Thank you, it means a lot to me.

Amazing story, my parents went to Medjugorje years ago and during her trip her rosary also changed colour, hers is now gold!
Have you heard about the documentary about Medjugoje, oh my gosh we missed the opportunity to see it, it was sold out in our area, there’s going to be a dvd and we are purchasing it!!!

I have not heard about that. My Grandma took a picture I swear when you look at the clouds in the picture you can see Jesus. He is standing there with his arms out stretch. It is so amazing.

Oh my gosh..goose bumps, I would love to go, if it’s God’s will he’ll get me there, I love your blog! You are so honest, it’s welcoming 🙂
Rita says
Thank you. When I decided to start this blog I knew I would only do it if I was completely honest and shared he good with the bad. There will no sugar coating it here.

Thanks for your words. I enjoy reading about other peoples beliefs. I believe the more we listen the better we can expand our views.
Rita says
I think so too and welcome hearing about other people’s beliefs.

I also spend a few moments each day in quiet meditation. I don’t really think of it as praying because I’m not much for organized religion, but it serves the same purpose, I think. Often, I find myself “talking” to my deceased mother.
