A Whole New World

Jan 01, 2021 | Rita

Tell me the truth, you sang that didn’t you? It’s okay I did as well the entire time I was coming up with the title for this post. That is why I called it this. I had it in my head. I know that y’all have noticed things have been changing around here and I haven’t said a word about it have I?

I wasn’t sure I was going to say anything then I thought why not. I felt it would be perfect to tie it all in with my New Year’s goals and resolutions. I am pretty proud of myself with all of the work I am doing here. I am still in the process of completing a huge portion of it.

A NEW THEME

I changed the theme so I now have this less cluttered, more modern look. I just had so much going on with the previous theme. I wanted to clean it all up a bit and this was the way I achieved that. I am loving the look of the theme now. Everything is much cleaner.

NEW COLORS & LOGO

I changed my colors a little to work better with the images I am using on front page. They also work well with the southern farmhouse sort of look I was going for. I also got a new logo that you can see. I thought the magnolia flower would tie things in well and keep the southern theme I was going for.

I have been slowing going through every single old post as well. I can tell you that has taken much longer than I thought it would. In fact, I still am not done with those. It is something I am just slowing doing and updating older featured images so they all match in size and such. Updating any post that I feel needs it.

FRIDAY COCKTAILS

I have a new series that will start next week called Friday Cocktails where I will share the week with you. Little things that we have been up to, behind the scenes looks, and much more. I spent the last six months working on goals and things I wanted for 2021 in my professional life. This is the year for me and I must say I am looking forward to it.
