Children’s books are some that we love but we get the chance to review rarely. We have been a bit lucky so far this year because we actually have a few lined up. Abigail and the North Pole Adventure by Tali Cami is the second one we have been able to read so far and we are loving it!
Want them to meet cultures and widen their horizons?
This is a wonderful book about a girl named Abigail. Abigail found a magical bicycle in her grandparents’ old house, and this bicycle takes her to the magnificent North Pole. Who will she meet there? What will she discover? This beginner reader’s eBook will inspire your kids to be open to new cultures, and be more curious and enthusiastic about exploring various places. Your kids will enjoy full-color illustrations of Abigail and the North Pole life. Your kids will be inspired to be:
1. Open to new people & cultures
2. More curious
3. Enthusiastic about exploring new things
I will tell you that this is the perfect book for beginning readers (my nephew is learning and can handle it on his own) or to be read aloud (the twins love hearing the adventures.) The text is simple and there is 15 colorful illustrations that the twins grab at whenever we read the story. When Abigail’s grandparents come to visit they bring her a magical bicycle and that allows her to go on her adventure to the North Pole. What I really love is that it this is not your regular kids fluff book. Abigail learns about the people who live at the North Pole (and we aren’t talking elves here!) She learns the types of homes they live in, the clothing they wear, and more.Abigail and the North Pole Adventure is perfect for children ages 2-8 but I will tell you that as a mother I got more enjoyment out of the kids enjoyment than I have in a long time.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Sounds like a great book; I love books that not only have a funny story line to keep children reading but a book that they learn others cultures..maybe it’s because I love to learn others cultures..thank you for the great post

My kids are too big for this type of book now but my niece is just the right age. I like to buy her different types of books to fuel her love of reading.
