My Thoughts

Cora has moved from her parents house because she is trying to be independent. It’s not that she isn’t but for her she needed to take that step. If not she would have stayed living with them. She doesn’t have the wild streak a lot of the other Free kids have. She super smart, artistic, and just wants to quietly live her life. Except her neighbor decides to work on his truck in the middle of the night. One look and we was gone.

Both Cora and Coke are wonderful characters and well written. I love that Coke never sees Cora as different even though she tells him about her problem. See, Cora’s birth mother left her in a car when she was young for several hour. That left Cora with a couple of issues.  Coke doesn’t even notice they exist. Cora is just Cora and he loves her. We once again get to see previous characters since Gabe is Cora’s dad and I love that we see her brother as well. All in all this was another blockbuster!
