Disclosure: This is part of a compensated campaign. I received free Ambrosia™ apples to try as well. However all opinions are 100% my own. I truly love these apples!!
Have you heard about Ambrosia™ apples? We hadn’t either until recently when we were given the chance to try some out and I am telling you all that I have found my new favorite apple. Ambrosia™ apples are ten years old which makes them still a relatively newcomer and is American grown. It’s name means “Food of the Gods” and are fast becoming the darling of the apple world. Thanks to a very strong consumer demand there are new Ambrosia™ orchards being planted in Washington State which will most likely double or even triple production over the next decade. As a consumer who loves these apples now I can tell you that I am thrilled by that news.
I love how crisp these are and if you are looking for a snack that satisfies your sweet tooth and that crunchy urge that you have then these are those apples. The one thing I love the most is how much the kids love them! They normally don’t eat apples without caramel or something on it. These they ate plain and I could not be happier about it. So now my children are apple eaters! Thank you Ambrosia™ apples.
Where to Find Ambrosia™ Apples
You can find Ambrosia™ apples in most major supermarkets nationwide and many independent stores. November through March is when most major supermarket chains carry Ambrosia™ apples grown within the US. However spring and summer months they are often imported into the United States from Chile and New Zealand. If you don’t see Ambrosia™ in your local supermarket? Ask the produce manager to stock it!
