An Apple A Day Giveaway Hop

Sep 16, 2020 | Rita

Are all the kids back in school at your house? We are currently homeschooling and not just my kiddos but my nephews as well. We are doing okay I would say but I know it’s not easy on the kids.

Not to mention there really isn’t a good list of the supplies that you need when you begin. I thought we could use what I had left over from last year but we ended up having to buy more supplies.

I will say that being the teacher and the caregiver isn’t easy. We had homeschooled before but I got too used to sending them off to school that I forgot how much goes into it. I was nervous about sending them back since we are a high risk household.

I figured for this giveaway hop I would give an Amazon gift card away. That way the winner could buy supplies they may need now or even get something nice for themselves. After all we gotta take care of ourselves as well.

  92. ToniAnn Sprouse says

    September 18, 2020 at 11:29 am

I keep seeing comment on social media about how we need to have patience and grace for the teachers as they embrace this new journey of online teaching, but I believe a few need the reminder that the kids also need to be shown grace as they adjust. A lot of parents in my community are getting an eyeopener about how little patience some of these teachers actually have with the little ones! (I apologize for the all caps, I’m not sure why I can’t type in lowercase on this form!)

  110. Janice Wright says

My kids are all grown. As far as the grandsons go, one is a junior in college. Some of his classes are online, but not all. One is in sixth grade, he has the same schedule as last year except they wear masks. The youngest two are in second and kindergarten. Their schedule confuses me. It’s a combination of online and school in the building. i think you need a flow chart to figure that one out.
