Over the course of the last couple of weeks I have been introducing you to Anthology Candles and this week I thought candles with you that were inspired by The Lord of the Rings books. Creator Rheny Williams began developing candles inspired by her favorite music. Whether inspired by a particular style, song, lyric, or artist, she found ways to translate the music into candles and fragrances. Which makes these all the more unique.
The Shire Candle brings to you scents of Fresh Air, Clean Outdoors, Meadow Grasslands, Sweet Tobacco, and a Hint of Smoke. This is the perfect candle to light when you are reading The Hobbit or the The Lord of the Rings. Sit back and let the scent take you away as Bilbo Baggins writes his book or as Frodo prepares for his journey.
The Rivendell Candle is a bit more for me in this grouping. It brings the scents of Twilight Woods (not the book), Woodland Foliage, Oakmoss, and Amber together to make you feel as though you are dining with the elves. Just so you know that happens in the book but not in all of the movies.
Gifting Ideas
Either of these candles (or both since you get a discount when buying more) would be perfect in a themed bag or box (since those are popular right now.) Filled with that wonderful green grass like they have out during Easter, the candles, a set of the books or even movies. If you go with the movie route you could always add in some popcorn or maybe a favorite ale in honor of The Prancing Pony.
