Are You a Jewelry Person?

One thing that I have always loved is jewelry. Mostly because I din’t really have to worry about size. Typically a ring fits if I gain a little weight unlike my pants. Necklaces and bracelets always fit as well.

When you are a plus size gal you learn to make accessories and other items work for you. Even if you really want clothes to work for you. Also I was a bit of a nerd and could never get fashion to work well for me. I barely manage to look alright most of the time now.

I don’t have a particular metal that I prefer either. I will wear silver or gold equally and sometimes even wear them together. In fact my favorite watch is silver with a gold stripe down the band. I can wear it with any of my other accessories and still look great. Charm bracelets seem to go well with a lot of different outfits as well. 

My most favorite piece of jewelry is a simple bracelet that holds sand from Loch Lomond in Scotland inside of it. It is a special piece that I love. Although the first diamond ring I got for a review is special too. My ex hated that ring and the fact that I was able to get it on my own.

There was a time when I was much younger that I would have loved to work in the jewelry industry. Of course I would have had to get my business in order like the suggestions on this website. My family had some friends who owned a jewelry store and I can remember helping them one summer.

I was a round twelve or so. I didn’t do much. Just swept the floors and things like that. I was intrigued by it all. Luckily I grew out of that fantasy. That aside I never lost my love for jewelry. I was the girl who had three boxes full of various rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, you name it. Of course she was a true blue blooded debutante and I never had any desire to be any of that.
