Art Crate Brings Art to Your Door

Disclosure:  Many thanks to the brand and/or their representative for providing the sample of the product(s) in exchange for this review and post. Please note that links MAY contain an affiliate which means I MAY earn a very small amount when you click. Opinions are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

One of the things that can make a house a home is fabulous art work. The problem for me is that I am the worlds worst at figuring out which art work works and which doesn’t. My home doesn’t really have a style because if I like it then changes are it ens up there. That is something that I have been slowly working on correcting. In my quest for subscription boxes to bring you this year I came across one that would help me do just that. It is called Art Crate and I was so thrilled when they agreed to work with me.

Beautiful Art Straight to Your Door

Art Crate brings you beautiful hand selected art right to your door. It is all very simple and painless I promise. You simply fill out a quick questionnaire that asks this about what you like then art is curated for you and you select which piece you would like. In total the entire process took about 15 minutes. My end of it! I am sure there is much more that goes into the whole process but it didn’t take me very long. There are three different options to choose from: Small $22/ monthly (framing +$32/mo), Medium $32/monthly (framing +$45/mo), and Large $49/monthly (framing +$56/mo) and shipping is free.

 Art Crate

I was sent the piece shown above and I will tell you that I fell in love with it from the moment I opened the package. The problem was so did my mother. Three hours later and an argument that I couldn’t win to save my life , she got the art. Now we are in a battle over which frame to get for it. Ma swears up and down that she will know the perfect one when she sees it. The problem is that is spends hours looking for this frame and I have picked out about a dozen that I am certain will work. So alas we are still looking. The only thing we have agreed upon is where it will hang…….sort of! I think it would look amazing above the fireplace and so does Ma but she also thinks it will look great hanging in her room.

Art Crate made all of this possible and I am certain that my mother would love a subscription to them. So I am more than certain that is something that I will be getting for her. Of course she will most likely end up with a pile of art that she still is searching for frames for but as long as she is happy I am happy.

Final Thoughts

I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you that Art Crate does have a framing service and if you think for a second you may be undecided like Ma then I highly recommend using that service. Actually I recommend it anyway. that way your art arrives ready to go! This was by far one of the coolest subscription services so far that we have had the pleasure of reviewing.

Any frame suggestions for Ma?

I thought at first with the title that you get a kit to make the art pieces. I get it now – I really like the piece you received; so pretty.

It is pretty. I went to a place once where you do your own art and well I gave it to my mother cause your mother has to love your art no matter what.

The frame is the way to go! Ma still hasn’t decided but I may make the decision for her soon.

It was a good fight but a fight none the less. It is simply a beautiful piece and I am certain your daughter would love it.
