As a blogger I need to have Internet access all the time. It is important I get the most reliable service I can and am able to travel with it. I hate using hotspots at hotels and other places when I travel. The reason is that a lot of them save your info to track your online habits. NETGEAR gives me the internet I need with little effort and without breaking the bank.
I live in the woods so my cell phone is less than smart. I get great service but a smart phone doesn’t always work here and I haven’t ventured into a new phone yet. So I use my iPod or iPad when I want to go I online without the computer. At home I use my Internet but traveling I need Internet. The thing is I don’t travel all the time so cost is important. I don’t want to pay a huge monthly bill for a service I use maybe once a month or so.
That is where the fabulous AT&T Unite Pro from NETGEAR comes in. As you can see it is no bigger than a smartphone and I can easily drop it in my purse. It is touchscreen which means I can get it setup and turned on quickly. One of the things I love is that once it is set up everything I don’t have to re-sync my gadgets every time. They are saved.
I can even create a guest password for friends and family if I choice to. AT&T does have a prepaid unit which is the Unite. The Unite Pro is a contract however, it is still a great deal!. Not to mention if my phone or gadget need a quick charge then I can use the Battery Boost and be good to go.
Connect with AT&T and NETGEAR
You can purchase the AT&T Unite Pro from NETGEAR for $$49.99 with a new two-year contract with AT&T.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I think this would be ideal for me. Since I am basically housebound thanks to lupus I don’t have a smartphone either. I have an ipad (though I don’t know how to really use it) but never thought I could take it with me and have internet until now.

There are a lot of times that fast Internet would be very helpful. Having very young grandsons means keeping them entertained when we are on the road. That means that sometimes streaming content on the iPad is necessary.

I would love to be able to have this, it’s a pain when I go and stay and my mom’s and have no reception,..it’s in those times for some reason that we need our phones or internet signal..urgh

This does sound good and not too expensive. Lots of times I cannot get internet reception. I like you can prepay for it too.

I think I need to switch to AT&T, Sprint has terrible service!s

A traveling mobile hotspot would be helpful for a number of reasons. That’s also nice that it has a battery boost feature. I would probably go with the two-year contract, as you usually end up paying more with the pre-paid, but 2 years can be a lot of time to commit to. Thank you for sharing!

My mom lives in an area that has limited cell service. she can get a bar or maybe two on her phone. she currently is without internet because even dial up service is slow and DSL isn’t available yet. we are looking for another option. I am going to tell her about this. Not sure if it will help but she is up to try almost anything.

Perfect!!! Hubz and I were just talking about needing to take Internet with us, but did not know about this.

This would be perfect when travelling in rural areas, we have so many areas that you cannot get cell phone reception and this would be an amazing item to use

This would be nice for when you travel. It is something I think my husband should think about getting for when he goes on business trips or to visit his mother. He has very little reception at his mothers house, so this might help him. Plus he takes a trip for work about 1 to 2 times a month. Thanks for the info.

I don’t do much traveling but I see how it would be useful to have one of these for when you do travel. I like that you can get a prepaid one without a monthly contract.

I’m not sure what I’d use this for, but I know there have been situations when I needed to get on the Internet and couldn’t for some reason. It’s great that it’s relatively affordable and I love the battery boost feature. My phone is always dying on me, especially when I’m on trips with my family.
