It is almost time to head back to school and as such I have an amazing hop for you thanks to The Mommy Island,  The Kids Did It, and Zombie Parenting. I know that y’all will enjoy it. How are you doing school this year? Here we were given a choice and I’m gonna be honest we are going the online route. I have senior citizens and a special needs child that is more susceptible to contracting Covid-19 to send the others to school.

My brothers are both doing online school for their kids as well. I have no idea what school supplies we are actually going to need this year yet. School starts here in another week or so which means we are coming down to the wire. Of course, we have enough supplies to get things started. I will say that it does seem weird not to be rushing around buying school supplies right now.

  14. Things are still up in the air in my area in regards to schools opening back up due to covid-19 so I have not done anything yet for back to school.

  15. I don’t have to worry about getting ready for back to school, but I am looking for resources and projects for my nephew. He is starting second grade and doing virtual learning so it is good to find some physical resources that can help him a bit.

  19. Hmm no plans to go back this year, though many are going through online courses, and other alternatives.

  32. I am so happy that my kiddo gradated (virtually) from college in May! We dont’ have to worry about online/in person schooling. I feel for my friends and family who are going through this time!

  36. We have been ordering a lot of my daughter’s back to school supplies online. Her new laptop is supposed to be delivered today.

  40. I no longer have any children in school. I do help my niece by picking up school supplies when I see them on sale.

  46. Our three kiddos are going to be doing virtual school this year, so we are gathering the supplies they will need along with the Chromebooks.

  54. we are getting our home learning area set up since we are doing virtual for the 1st semester.

  55. It is really just so weird. My son will be in school 1 day a week and learning remotely for the rest of the week.We are rethinking supplies and how best to organize.

  57. NOPE. MINE IS DOING ONLINE CLASSES SO WE ARE WAITING TO SEE WHAT SHE WILL NEED IF ANYTHING. NOT BUYING CLOTHES, NO NEED FOR NEW ONES.

  59. Just started buying some items online so far. We’re not sure if our schools are starting online or in class right now.

  60. i have been making plans and purchased some things to do preschool at home with my four year old!

  64. My kids have to distance learn, so I am trying to make sure that they have a good quiet place to learn and trying to make sure that they are keeping up with their classes.

  65. I’m not getting ready to go back to school, although I may start a spanish language class soon.

  68. We are arranging schedules so that our kids can be in school only part time. They will be in school half time in order to better be able to follow physical distancing rules. when at home, they will do their studying online. we are also making sure the kids are educated about how to stay safe both while travelling to and from school and while they are in class. thank you for the awesome giveaway opportunity as back to school financial needs are much higher this year.

  70. I dont have to Worry about that too much, but startinG to see what items i hsould buy my nephew for back to school, like art SUPPLIES and clothing!

  71. Still trying to figure it all out. OUr district is offering 3 options- Full day in School, full virtual and a hybrid model. Should be interesting

  72. Well, were doing our district’s online school for fall. I’m Trying to get a space set up for her. I just ordered all of her supplies on amazon. To tell the truth i really missed picking out supplies in a store. It was always my favorite thing about back to school. 😆

  74. No school age kids, but I sometimes like stocking up on supplies anyway because that’s the time when you can get them on sale

  75. Actually, my kids are all grown up. my daughter on the other hand is waiting to hear if my granddaughter is going back to school or virtual learning this fall. Stay safe everyone!

  76. This fall is my Youngest daughters last semester at ole miss. She geTs her supplies However we moved her to another Location and have gotten all she needs at the new house. I am excited she will get her degree iN december and then start another chapter of her life.

  78. thank you for the giveaway. I am working on getting my daughter ready for college! We are looking for scholarships, applications, etc. I am also planning to help with some supplies for my nieces this year since we relocated to be near them. I’m so excited to see what their new school year will bring.

  79. We go back to school in a little over a week so we have been online shopping for clothes.

  80. I’m on the other side of the desk, so to speak. classes started here two days ago. this year is strange and all I really needed to do this time around was learn how to use zoom!

  86. Yes, our daughter is going to college next week so we are getting all of her stuff.

  87. My nieces and nephews can’t wait to get back to school. I don’t have any school age kids. I sent them some money for school supplies.

  90. I am getting all the supplies to keep homeschooling the kid. Schools are reopening but we won’t be sending him back YET since the pandemic is still very much going here in AZ.

  93. My grandsons will be learning from home. They are still getting some new clothes, backpacks and supplies.

  95. I started my nIece on reading wgat ever she can get her hands on. And i download Some learning games fir her like ABC mouse and Khan Acade

  96. We’ve got new clothes bought so that is one step done. now it’s time to get supplies.

  98. I don’t have kids, but I do work at a community college so getting ready for back to school is making sure I have masks for days I work on campus, preparing for new students and classes, etc. I’m a librarian. 🙂

  104. Actually all of my kids are grown but i do buy school supplies for one of the grandkids. in june, the school has “bundles of school supplies” for each grade. I buy one for my grandson, that way he has everything he needs when school starts.

  111. My grandson is sTarting school next week via remote leArning. He has most of his school supplies.

  114. I took my god-daughter shopping, and she picked out a couple cute outfits, and we went and bought some “cool school supplies”…it was a great time, and I just hope and pray all the kids will be safe.

  115. Stocking up on pencils, art supplies, craft stuff and snacks. Want to be prepared if we end up at home full time again.

  118. My youngest daughter decided to do her junior year all online. We just got her some comfy clothes and a rocketbook notebook for her to do her assignments on. My oldest daughter is starting her junior year in college. She will be taking actual classes online but she officially starts nursing school this year so she has to go in 3 days a week for clinicals. The school is providing them with enough surgical masks to to be able to work with patients and then cloth masks for labs. It’s truly going to be different for everyone this year.

  121. My children are grown. I bought my Grandchildren a few things on Amazon and had it shipped to them.

  123. This year is kinda big for back to school as everyone is heading to school for the first time ever. Both my kids are doing inperson learning so we have supplies & masks labeled and practiced wearing. My husband is a middle school teacher & has to teach online and later inperson/online. I am going back to work teaching part-time in person& have to get myself ready for being in a classroom again (a first in 8yrs after being a stay at home mom). My first day is actually tomorrow and I’ve have been rummaging through my closet trying to figure out what professional clothes still fit and what I need to get. Imagine that, 8 years & I need bigger pants! lol. Those babies widened these hips! lol

  129. My kids are all grown and out on their own. I am thankful that I don’t have to deal with the school issue with everything going on.

  131. I don’t have any kids, but i got some things for my nieces, they recently started going back to physical classes.

  134. My kids are doing virtual learning, so we’ve made sure they have the electronics they need and some desk space.

  135. We are all stocked up on school supplies and are getting ready to get their laptops as well.

  147. Im not winning mom of the year this year lol! My son just showed me his shoEs are falling apart and he starts school tomorrow. Ahhh! I gotta buy shoes while he is at school tomorrow

  148. All we had to do to prepare for back to school was check to make sure the laptops were working properly.

  149. I bought a lesson plan book and lots of school supplies. This would have been sons first preschool year but i did not want his first year to begin so different i decided im homeschooling .We start next monday

  152. We’re getting all our books and plans ready for a fun new year of school! A few things aren’t working as planned so I’m looking into some alternatives.
