Enter the grand prize giveaway here. The idea of this hop was to give back to the community and donate the items that bloggers received to review.

ShopFanatico and I have teamed up to donate $ worth of baby products to a local charity (they give out all sorts of items that families need) and to encourage all of you to do the same.

We are giving one lucky reader a $100 Babies R Us Gift Card to help you get the baby items you need. If you don’t need any we encourage you to give the items to a local charity who will get them to someone who does.

  15. We give to food drives, volunteer, and we’re in the process of becoming a foster family.

  23. We donate to Greenhouse Ministry’s. It is similar to Goodwill but they give away all donations to those in need.

  26. we give things away on freecycle its a great way to give things and get things without having to pay for it.

  27. My fiance and i give food we don’t want or need to out local food bank. When we are out in town, and on the beach we pick up trash and throw it away. We don’t litter, we put our wrappers and garbage in our pockets instead of just throwing it on the side of the road. 🙂

  28. we donate our gently used clothes, and also buy groceries for less fortunate families during Christmastime

  30. I constantly donate to the Goodwill in our area and other charities, as they come around.

  31. At the moment Im ashamed to admit I haven’t been volunteering. But I just received an application to be a Big Sister.

  34. I donate books to the library and clothes to the Salvation Army. I would love to find the time to start volunteering again.

  36. I donate money to the homeless, send money to all sorts of organizations and donate food, clothing and formula to local shelters. It’s so important to give what you can, you never know when you’ll be in need and if no one gives anything then what? Karma does exist

  44. i donate and plan to do with all my baby clothes unless i find someone i know having a kid

  45. I just cleaned house and donated 15 bags full of clothing / household items / stuffed animals and so much more to a local donation center!

  47. I donate outgrown clothes and toys to Ladies of Charity, an organization that then gives them to free to families in need. I also donate toys during Christmas time to Toys for Tots and participate in local food drives. Thanks.

  50. We donate toys every year for the Toys for Tots program. We also donate canned goods to the local schools to stuff kids backpacks.

  55. I work at a sheltered workshop for the developmentally disabled, and because of that, we give a lot of our time and resources to the Special Olympics and other activities.

  65. I donate clothes, books, food, and other items. My husband is a volunteer emt and firefighter

  69. I won a very nice teak bench from another blogger right before Mother’s Day, and so I decided to give it to an elderly lady near my husband’s work. She had a beautiful yard but nothing to sit on, and don’t even no her at all. I hope that she likes the bench.

  70. Honestly with some chronic health problems, I can’t do too much physically to give back. I do bake for school events, help with concessions at games, give clothing and toys and household to Goodwill or Easter Seals. Help watch kids for people when they are overwhelmed. But can’t donate much really.

  71. I donate food at every food drive I hear about. I donate my time to my kids’ fundraisers and schools. And I donate our gently-used household items to local thrift stores.

  80. my kiddos and church have been working at the local shelters serving meals:) we also help when possible by donating extra stuff that we dont need….

  96. I do river cleanups, I am a team captain for our local Relay for Life, and I donate to the local shelters (animals and humans!)

  101. Whenever we can, we donate to various local resources for those in need, such as battered women’s shelter, food bank, etc.

  102. I donate too, and purchase from our local Goodwill and Salvation Army stores. My husband also takes care of our many elderly neighbors watering their lawns (mowing is down by the coop) and shoveling their snow.

  107. We donate everything we can. When our daughter is older I will take her with me to build houses for Habitat for Humanity : ) She’ll be able to help in some way, even if she can’t build!

  110. Once a year, my husband, daughter and I go through our clothes and miscellaneous items and give them to our local thrift store
