Back to school season is here and we all spend a lot of time getting ready for the big day. Everyone prepares their children in different ways. We start by getting them back onto their school schedule a few weeks before we start classes again. The schedule consists mostly of waking them up and having them go to bed at the times that they would have to during the school year. By starting a few weeks ahead of time we are able to ease them back into the routine.
The Boys and Girls Club of America is helping you get your children ready to head back to school in a variety of ways. First they have some fabulous tips and educational content that you can download and use from their site. Their Back to School Tips (on the left hand side under Get Ready) include some Time Management Tips that I found useful such as having a regular routine and creating a family calendar among many other. Be sure to check it out and let me know what tips you find the most useful.
Another way the Boys and Girls Club of America is helping you is they have partnered with JC Penny to round-up your purchases in August. When you make a purchase at JC Penny during the month of August round-up your purchase so your donation can help make a difference in the lives of children. his is such an easy way to help and it doesn’t matter if you round-up a few cents or a few dollars every penny counts and helps.
Want to help the Boys and Girls Club of American get some school supplies? You can and it is super easy to do. All you have to do is play the Playing=Giving game where supplies are donated for every correct answer you give in this pop-quiz style game. The game is through the Boys and Girls Club of America partnership with Disney.
“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Boys and Girls Club. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
