The best part about the summer is being able to be outside and eat outdoors. I always want to have big farm style dinners but of course I can’t convince anyone to let me the party poppers! We do get together a lot during the summer and celebrate the season. I don’t why that is but I guess it has to do with us doing that a lot as we were growing up. Having the perfect beverages is essential and Barefoot Wine always has the perfect ones.
This year it is their Barefoot Refresh Spritzers that are speaking to me! There are two flavors, Crisp White and Summer Red, they are best were chilled and let tell you they are simply awesome! They come in an 8.4 fl. oz. can that is skinner than a soda can more like an energy drink can which a straw fits into beautifully!
Crisp White Spritzer
This one has aromas of peach, lemon-lime, and crisp apple then you add in the Chenin Blanc and Riesling which really make it very refreshing (pin intended.) It is light and just perfect for the summer. This is great for those light dishes or salads that you could be serving. I enjoyed it with a salad but I would advise against a fruit salad so that you don’t hinder the flavors of this. I swear I could actually taste the peach and feel it bursting on my tongue. This was by far my favorite!
Summer Red Spritzer
This was a little heartier for me and I enjoyed it with ribs because I felt it paired well. There are aromas of raspberries, oranges and ripe berries. On top of those are Moscato, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir and you get one fruity, juicy spritzer.
Barefoot Refresh Spritzers are available in stores nationwide as 4-packs for $8.99 or individually for $2.49 which makes them the perfect price for your next outdoor get together. Or your next indoor get together if you want to hang in the air conditioning which I totally don’t blame you for.

These look awesome! I hadn’t heard of these yet. This would be great for summer grill outs. I think I would like the Moscato.

I dont drink much at all but these dont sound too bad. As long as the white wasnt too dry I might be fine with it.
