BBQ Franchise?

Yesterday I share with y’all that I would love to visit a Dickeys barbecue sometime in the near future. While I was writing that article I got to thinking about it and thought about it could be fun to own one of the franchises. Just think about all the free barbecue I could eat.

I would be the size of a house and sick from it all. Seriously though I do know some one who owns a barbecue place and she loves it. She gives me ribs for Christmas because I am so easy! It could be something that my children have as a legacy.

My brother and talk about that a lot. Leaving a legacy for our children. Having a bbq franchise could be just the thing. It sells like hot cakes around here. Of course I would have to come up with a recipe. I could do that. Although I like mine barbecue when all of the sauce is mixed in it. I hate when I go to a place and I get dry meat and have to add sauce. I want sauce in every single bite. Although I do understand why it is done that way.

Owning a Dickeys barbeque franchise could be a great adventure or it could make me want to pull my hair out more. I think I am going to go with the latter. My even thinking about all of this is one of the reasons I told you yesterday that I was thankful about my sister in-law stealing my business idea. I tend to jump in with both feet when I have an idea. While I am a planner there are certain things that I never take the time to plan out.

I have no idea why business can be one of those things sometimes it just is. I could of course take some time to read the Dickey barbecue pit wiki and learn more. It may be something I do anyway just to get information. I a big on information. I think it will be something I can put together and then discuss it with my brother over the summer. He is the one sibling that would go into business with me. My older brother would eat more barbecue than I would. Plus he still tries to boss em around because he doesn’t understand that I am the boss. Who knows this time next year I could be sharing with all of you that we have a franchise.

Plus putting together information will allow me to satisfy my curiosity as well as give me time to really think things through. That way when I no longer have the urge to rush out and spend all of my savings I can make a rational decision. It is a trick that I learned when I was younger and has something to do with my OCD. One of the great things about a franchise though is that I don’t have to worry about recipes. They will teach us how to cook everything their way. That does make things a little easier.
