How many of you love the great outdoors? I know that I do (well sort of) even though at the moment I am a bit laid up. One of the things that all my outings with my brother taught me last year was to always be prepared for anything because anything can and will happen. Prepper Gear knows that and while yes the name does imply more a dooms day feel this is one company you are going to want to get to know.
Always Be Ready
Prepper Gear is deigned to bring you the tools you need when you need then the most. I know what you are thinking, how could they possibly know what tools I need. Trust me! You may think you will never need the things they send you but it is always better to have something and never need it than to need it and not have it. Each box contains 2-3 carefully selected, high quality survival gear and preparedness items for situations as diverse as wilderness survival, personal protection, storm preparation, urban survival, EDC and others. Sometimes you just just get one totally awesome piece of gear. On top of that you will receive helpful tips, instructions and challenges to grow your survival skills and confidence in any situation. This was a huge plus for me because I have no idea how to do things that start a fire without matches! You can get all of this for only $25 a month.
In the box that we received there were a lot of very useful items and I freely admit a couple of things I have never heard of. However that is okay and now that I have them I can ensure that our outdoor bags as well as our go-bags (yes we actually have these because I am a military brat who was raised to always be prepared) are stocked and ready.
This flashlight is ready to do the job at hand. It has great features such aircraft grade aluminum casing, a steel clip, glow in the dark button, and a removable self defense face among others. It is the one flashlight that everyone needs.
Okay this is not any actual grenade and while the cord is para-cord if you ask any of my siblings what its called they will tell you 5/50 cord. That is what we grew up calling it! 🙂 This actually has several items that you can use to survive including a fish hook. You can clip this to your key ring and always have it with you.
Okay I admit I didn’t know what these things were. Had never even heard of them but now that I know what they are I am thrilled to have them because lets face it you just don’t know when you may need to have purified water to drink.
Another item that I had never heard of but am grateful for. These puppies can light when they are wet and they can burn at 1300 degrees. Now I freely admit that I have no idea why you want something that hot but I bet the steak cook over them would be great.
This is something that is very important and I am pretty sure that we the machines take over and we are all living by our wits that having this will come in handy. Can you tell I have been watching a little too much SciFi? I’m not making fun I promise as I said before I was brought up to always be prepared and this is handy.
Final Thoughts
Every month Prepper Gear sends you a box that gets the right tools into you hands. This is a box that is a must in my book. Remember it is better to have something and never need it than to need and never have it.

Do you have a go-bag? Why or why not?

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Great idea here. We do not have a go bag but I am sure after I tell my husband he would want to create one. The grenade is really neat by the way!

I have an emergency kit in my car. I don’t go camping.

My husband would love this! We do go camping, and tent camping is our idea of roughing it. We don’t hike into the wilderness, but all of this would be great anyway. I especially like the idea of having things on hand from emergencies.

Now this is an intriguing subscription! My son would love this, because he’s a boy scout and into all the survival gear.

I could probably use a few more things in my bag.

I’m watching Fear the Walking Dead right now and thinking how some of these items would come in handy.

A great idea for an earthquake kit.
