‘Be Ye As Little Children’ from Precious Moments

Easter is a time we spend with our families and there are plenty of young children getting ready for their first communion. With all of that there are more than a few gifts that I have to give out this year. One of the lucky things is that Precious Moments has sent me the perfect gift idea for so many.

The ‘Be Ye As Little Children’ Limited Edition Bisque Porcelain Figurine is so beautiful and colorful. It has Jesus with two small children.  This particular piece is limited to only 1,000 pieces worldwide. That makes it a wonderful addition to Ma’s collection. You all know how much she loves these. It has been hand painted and as I said is beautiful. It is approximately 7.5H x 7W x 6.5D inches, so it is a good size piece.

I placed it in front of the window to get some good pictures and because it was too big for Ma’s shelf that she had. I am going to have to buy her a new one. Then my camera decided it was going to have a moment or two and I had to use my cell. I hate taking pictures with my cell. Okay, now that rant is out of the way! 😉 I love that Jesus has blue eyes in this. I don’t know why but I like him better with the blue eyes. I think it is because of that movie that was out years ago. While the children have the standard “Precious Moments” look about them Jesus has the timeless look we all know and love. He is simple in his design but so much love and depth on his face.

Every detail has been carefully sculpted. The children’s clothing is anything but plain. The flowers on the grass is carefully colored. All in all this is a piece I would have in my home even if Ma wasn’t crazy about it. This is the perfect piece for someone to celebrate their faith. It inspires the timeless message that Jesus gave when he said to bring all the little children to him.
