My sister in laws are all beautiful women! They truly are and there are times when I look at them and think I just don’t compare in any way.For starters they all take the time to dress themselves well no matter what the occasion. While most days I wear a pair of sweats and a T-shirt.
I work from home and just don’t bother to dress up. Lets face it if I am going to be completely honest I even wear a comfy bra that should be thrown away. Some days I wonder why Edgar even bothers with me. That is one thing I have noticed about American women and Latinas. We will go to Walmart in our pajamas (you know you have gone outside in them at least once) while they dress up to buy groceries.
I want to try harder but I just don’t have it in me. How do you all dress most days? Be honest.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I try to dress and do my hair and makeup every day. It makes me feel better. I surely hope that you wrote this while feeling a little blue and are being too hard on yourself. It is not what we wear on the outside, it is what we are on the inside. Your true beauty shines through in your posts. I mean it. You mean so much to so many and I think you are beautiful!

I try to be pulled together and polished, whatever the occasion. On the weekends or at home, I like to wear dark jeans and a cute tee or top. I always do my hair (it’s super short so no big effort required) and minimal makeup. I could do more with accessories, but I usually don’t bother unless I’m going out. I dress for me as much as anyone (including my husband) though – I just feel better.

I make sure to have some makeup on because my face is reddish. But I do not dress up to go out. I wear jeans and and a sweatshirt. I do not like dressing up. I stay in my pajamas a lot when I am home. I am like you, I do not want to dress up.

I know what you mean growing up latina my mom and every other female in the family would dress up slab on makeup just to go to the store, i on the other hand will gladly go with pjs on. I dont wear makeup i’ve hated the way it felt when i tried it a few times. I dress up on rare occasion like a date with hubby.

I very rarely dress up and I don’t wear any makeup ever. When I walk in the door I go right upstairs and put on my PJ’s. I probably own more PJ’s then any other women on the planet. When I’m not in those I am in workout pants or jeans, T-shirts or sweatshirts. I am super lucky because when I go to work, we just wear jeans, T-shirts and sweatshirts. Plus I can work from home most of the time. So as far as I’m concerned it’s a Win Win situation.

I don’t care for sweatshirts but I have nice fitting yoga clothes I wear at home. I’m pretty modest so I don’t go for low cut things. I also don’t wear much makeup but I was a surgical nurse and got out of that habit years ago. I do like to wear earring every day though.

I know what you mean I usually don’t feel all that put together because I don’t wear makeup or jewelry. I live in So Cal where it is very much about appearances. I do work outside the home so I do have to get dressed but with not much money to spend on myself for clothes most of my clothes are years old. I just try not to worry about it too much and do the best I can.

I am right there with you – jeans and sweaters/shirts most days, hair up in a bun… I have 3 boys 5 and under and just don’t have the time or desire really to dress up 🙂 I do dress up on Sundays for church and Friday nights for church and that’s about it… Something I could really work on 🙂
