Have I ever told you all how much I love watches? I do! They can pull a look together like no other piece of jewelry. Your watch says so much about you and the look you are going for. I have been loving wood watches for a while and when I got the chance to receive another JORD Watch I took! Mostly because Ma took my last one since apparently she needed it more than me and y’all know how that story goes.

If you aren’t familiar with JORD Watches, where have you been? I’m just kidding although they have been all over the internet in the last year or so. They have become very popular and I know several people who love them. They make watches for both Men and Women and there is even an Apple Watch Band.

I received the Cora in Koa & Rose Gold which is a stunning watch. The wood is of course Koa wood and I admit that I had to look up what kind that is exactly. I hadn’t heard of it before but can tell you that I love the look of it. While that deep, rich, dark wood called to me it is not what drew me in where this watch is concerned.

No, it was this stunning rose gold face that drew me in. It screamed “I need to be on your arm!” Is that not the most beautiful piece of craftsmanship that you have ever seen? I love that you get a little peek at the working on the inside.

Of course for a wonderful little surprise you can check out the back. There you will find when your watch was crafted as well as a better look at the workings of the inside of the watch. I have to say they are just as beautiful.

The back clasp opens on both sides which is unusual but something I like. It is just one of those little touches that makes this piece that more special. Just an FYI… that blue and pink swirl is not on the clasp. It’s my camera strap reflection! 😉

When you clasp both ends you can’t tell they both open. As you can see it looks just like any other watch clasp. The fact that when closed the clasp is black makes the Cora watch look all the more elegant.

The watch came inside this awesome box that you can use to store in when you aren’t wearing. There is a little pillow that the watch will rest on and at the bottom there a little drawer. I put my cloths in the drawer and then leave the watch as well as a ring I wear often in the top.

There were some extras in the box as well. Two cleaning cloths and a solution to help keep my watch looking beautiful. I probably should let Ma use some on her watch as well but at the moment I’m still all up in my feelings about her taking it from me to begin with.
