Best Year Ever Giveaway Hop

I am so excited to that Rita Reviews is one of the hosts of this hop along with MamatheFox. I love taking part in these and being able to co-host one is a bonus for me. I will admit that

I admit that I had no idea what I wanted to offer up for this giveaway. In the past I would have just done a camera but this is a new year and I wanted to break the mold. At least in a way. I figured a gift card is always a welcomed pleasure. I know that when I won one just before Christmas I was thrilled. I used it to purchase something nice for myself. Something that I wanted but thought I would wait to get since it wasn’t in the budget. The gift card allowed me to get it without touching anything in my budget.

That is the gift part of gift card. So as the new year starts and everyone is working on those resolutions maybe someone can use this gift card to get themselves something they wanted but didn’t get. Maybe you need some gym equipment for those weight loss goals or maybe you need some new shoes. Maybe you have a list of books that you want to buy that is huge (my list is!) or maybe you don’t need anything at the moment. Either way I hope that the winner will enjoy the gift card.

I do want to say that whomever wins I would suggest using the card or adding it to your account right away. I saw a report on the news recently about how gift cards were being drained by scammers. They go tot he stores and get the numbers off the back of gift cards and then wait for someone to activate them. It was awful! This man lost everything he got on his gift card. I will sending an ecard since they are harder to scam but I still advise that you at the least put it into your Amazon account. You can do that right away and it makes the card yours. No one can touch it without going into your account. Ecards are the way I will get sending gift cards from now on. The world is full of crazy people and to think that someone would take everything off a gift card is horrible.
