Have you all seen the movie trailer for The Secret Life of Pets? I can’t wait to go see it next week! I really love the subject of this movie and I don’t know about y’all but I am always talking for my wonderful dog. Well General Mills is helping celebrate The Secret Life of Pets in a big way!
You ever wonder what your pets might be doing when you aren’t home? Well for their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures answers that question. To make it even sweeter General Mills has partnered with The Secret Life of Pets and specially marked boxes of Big G Cereals (Honey Nut Cheerios, Cheerios Multi Grain, Lucky Charms, Trix and Cocoa Puffs- some of my favorites) will feature free character collectibles.
Just an FYI the collectibles are not in the cereal but rather between the box and bag on the inside. We had an event which is most likely a whole other post and a little therapy that will be coming later. 😉 The character collectibles available include: Max the pampered terrier mix, Duke the massive mutt, Snowball the leader of the flushed pets, Buddy the sarcastic dachshund, Gidget the naïve, but gutsy Pomeranian and Chloe the fat cat. These are on shelves while supplies last.
Like I said I am always talking for my dog and my brother does it as well. Of course he has more than one animal and I am pretty sure the above scene really happens. Poor Axel is too small to be out when no one is home and he isn’t house broken yet so he has to stay in his little cage. Turner doesn’t and can be a bit of a bully when he wants to be.
I have a little plotter! This bunny reminds me so much of Sassy in that she has that same look sometimes. Like she is plotting evil and you just know that whatever it is I will be the one who finds it the funniest. She likes to takes things and hide them.

I am sure I don’t really want to know what Lieutenant Doof and Miss Kitty. our two cats, do when I am not home! I think they probably own my kitchen, walking on the counters, scratching on the baskets where I store dry foods, lying around on my table.

I keep seeing trailers and it looks really cute. I have 5 cats and a dog, I am not sure I want toknow what they do when I am gone. I think they mostly sleep but the dog I am sure gets into trouble.

From the trailer – which I thought was hilarious – I perhaps expected more from this. Still, it’s probably one that’s worth catching up with because it sounds like it’ll still entertain even if it doesn’t reach the heights of some of the animated masterpieces of the last few years.
