Today is my birthday and I want to celebrate with all of you! I have two giveaways today. One is for all of my readers and something everyone can use. Birthdays are meant to be fun no matter how old you get. Some of my favorite birthday memories are the ones spent with family. Although I will tell you a secret, I look forward to hearing hubby sing Happy Birthday to me every year. It is just something he has always done whether he has to call me to do it or not and I love it!

My favourite birthday was when I was sixteen and had a house party with my friends. Wouldn’t it be nice if life was still so simple!
I remember a birthday party that I had when I was a kid in Audubon Park in New Orleans where they used to have an old train engine that (back in those less regulated days) you could climb on. We had a white cake with coconut icing, I still remember!

My favorite birthday memory is when I was stationed on the southeast coast of Italy. I was house-sitting a penthouse for a teacher who was on summer vacation. A good time was had by all with plenty of food and drinks, and even a baby grand piano.

I was very sick but spent my birthday this year with my Mom and family, first time in many, many years! It was truly a happy birthday!

When I was a kid I think somewhere around 10 years old we had a Block Party for my birthday. We literally blocked off the street. My bday is on July 5th.

My birthday is in October and one year I went to Vermont to celebrate. I stayed at a bed & breakfast with family and I thought it was pretty neat.
My fave birthday is when my dad cooked me my favorite food, hot dogs with homemade chile and fries. That was a special moment for me.

My mom worked really hard to put together a surprise party for my 14th birthday. I found out about it, but I feigned surprise to make her happy. It was so fun and I loved that she went to all that trouble for me.

My favorite birthday memory is actually of my daughter’s 5th birthday party. When she saw her Princess Cake her eyes really lit up, she was so excited.
My favorite birthday memory is more in line with a tradition than a memory. Every year on my birthday my mother in law would call, first thing in the morning. There was no hello, there was no “Happy Birthday”….as soon as you answered the phone she started singing. She had her own version of the happy birthday song. She sang it to each and every family member and friend on each and every birthday.
My favorite birthday memory was that of when my 1st child turned 1 – it was so much fun! We just had a small party which consisted of family. It was just wonderful to celebrate my baby becoming a toddler and seeing him enjoy his cake and presents.

My husband set his own alarm and woke me up early and we flew to Atlantic City with my Mom & Dad for the day! It was so much fun.
For my birthday one year my husband surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas, NV. He then proposed again after so many years marriage and presented me with a new engagement ring. I just love that man!

My favorite Birthday memory is when I was 10 years old and I got a big Birthday party with all my friends and I got what I wanted which was a Barbie Doll with clothes and a Case. And I got a Barbie Birthday Cake and the whole house was decorated in Barbie decorations! It was the best birthday as a child that I can remember!

My favorite birthday was when I turned 50 and I got to take the whole family out with me to celebrate at a quaint new restaurant out in the country called the Lighthouse! the food, service, and company were awesome and we all had a ball! What a way to celebrate!
A long while back my roommate decided to set up a birthday dinner with some friends of mine for me. I was so excited, but slowly many of the people began to back out or say they could not make it. I was sad that so many friends would drop out on me. When I got to the resturant all my friends were there and surprised me.

My favorite birthday memory was on my 19th birthday, when my husband proposed to me. He tried keeping it a surprise, took me out to a beautiful dinner, and then we went for a romantic drive and got out to walk along this cobblestone street. He got down on one knee and proposed right there to me! It will always be my most treasured birthday memory!
I don’t have a favorite birthday memory, they were all pretty much the same: lots of people over, eating, cake, just a pleasant time.
Happy Birthday! I don’t have one particular favorite memory, they have all been good! Some of my favorites were during my early grade school years. My mom would always have a big birthday party for me, inviting all the girls in my class over. After school, we would all walk together to my house for the party.

Through the years, I have not been a huge fan of birthdays. When I was a child, all my celebrations involved all my cousins and relatives. My adult birthday’s, are now celebrated with people taking m out to dinner. The one that brings back memories was a surprise 25th party, there had to be 50 people there and they took me dancing at every club in town. It was fun, but took a week to recover, hahaha! 🙂
My favorite birthday memory was when I was a teenager and my best friend and I had a birthday on the same day. So, another one of our friends one day invited us over and it was a Saturday before both our birthdays, we just thought all three of us were going to hang out at her house. She had a pool table down stairs and said let’s go play pool and OMG, what a surprise party. It was great! We had no idea, can you believe a bunch of teenagers could keep a secret?
My favorite birthday memory is when hubby booked a last minute trip and took me to DIsneyworld. We had so much fun and he found such a good deal. The weather was perfect since my birthday is in the fall and we got to stay in a nice Downtown Disney resort.
Favorite memory was the first time I got to have a Big Birthday Party with my friends and all the fun decorations. I loved the purple masks and party favors. But having my closest friends there was the best.
My and my mom’s and my dad’s and my son’s birthdays are all within a couple of weeks of each other. My favorite memory is in the summer of ’09 when we had a birthday blowout! Everyone had so much fun and lots of the family came out. We even had fireworks! We took lots of pics and there is a great one of me and my mom! She passed away 10 days later.

My parents were not the kind to do anything out of the ordinary for birthdays. A small party with a few family members and a couple of little gifts.
But on my fourteenth birthday there was a knock on the door and I opened it. It was a clown! I was in shock. I shut the door right in the clown’s face.

My favorite birthday memory was when my wife (then, fiancee) worked with my mom to put together a surprise birthday party for me. Although some of the clues were there, I was completely surprised! We had a good number of friends and family over to a friends house, to celebrate my birth and it was quite a joyous occasion.

One of my funniest birtthday memories is when I turned 30. THe whole year when people asked me how old I was I said 30 until my birthday when I thought I was turning 31 my daughter said Mom your only 30.
This past year was my most memorable birthday. I went to a concert for one of my favorite bands which was on my actual birthday. I wore this birthday sash and I got to meet the lead singer, and he told me happy birthday.

My favorite birthday was my 12th. It was the very first boy/girl party I ever had. Had a blast!
Well…Im not sure if I would say my favorite birthday memory…but the one I will always remember….and laugh about it now…was when I turned 13 years old and my mom and dad hung a huge banner across the whole front of our home saying “Lookout world…Laura’s a teenager today”. And of course….being a teenager I slept till noon that day and the whole world saw it! LOL
I love my birthday because it is always near Thanksgiving. I don’t mind sharing it with that holiday. Pumpkin pie is my favorite. I rather have that than a cake.

A recent birthday memory happened last year when I turned 30. My mom gave me 30 presents to open that day. It was really fun.

When my grandmother was alive and I had the chance to celebrate my birthday with two of my other cousins who birthdays were in November and we had a lot of fun as kids celebrating to gether with over a dozen cousins attending.
On my 10th birthday my mom took me and a bunch of friends mini golfing. On the last hole, I made a hole in one, and won a free game. Very exciting for a ten year old!
My favourite birthday memory was for my when was was 10. My grandparents got me a puppy. He was asleep behind our tv set when I came home from school and they told me they had a card for me but it fell behind the tv. When I looked, I saw the little fluff ball and was so excited.
My favorite birthday memory was when I turned 18. We had just moved to a new place and I really didn’t know anyone. My mom came home from work with a big pizza and some chocolate cake. It was great. Just her and me.
Favorite birthday memory is a childhood party when I was about 7 or 8. I had about 15 friends, both boys and girls, who were all dressed up. Of course there were many presents, cake and ice cream and several games like Pin the Tail on the Donkey and Musical Chairs.
I had just started dating my now husband. He surprised me with a dinner party with my friends and it was perfect. Much better than his birthday, I got food poisoning and threw up all on his bday.

My Birthday has always been the biggest holiday of the year to me. I recall when I was about 7, I cancelled my birthday party because my sister was going to have a friend sleep over. Um, no not on my Birthday lol. I’ve always been a it’s all about me kind of birthday crazy person!!
We used to have fantastic birthday parties as children. Every year was a differently themed pinata. Now that I have a daughter, I’ll have to figure out how to make hers as memorable as mine were!
My favourite birthday memories are the parties my mom organized for me when I was a little girl. They were nothing elaborate or expensive, but there were lots of games, friends good food and homemade chocolate cake.

My favorite was my 25th. I had recently started entering contests and I won a cruise. I didn’t get to choose the departure date, but it just happened to fall on my 25th B-day.
My favorite was the one I just had this past July. Me, my mom, and grandma went to Savannah and since my birthday is after Independence Day, we got to see the fireworks in Savannah on July 4th. It was a great show.
Celebrating my kids birthdays is funner for me than celebrating my own. We often go to Disneyland for the weekend for it.

My favorite Birthday memory was when I was feeling down after my dad had passed away. My brother asked me to come out to the campground he was staying at and when I showed up all of my family was there. It made the day so much better.
We didn’t have much growing up so no fancy parties or gifts. But each year my mom would make me my favorite dish, chaufa. It’s like a Peruvian fried rice dish. Then she would make chocolate cake. Two of my favorite things ever. I guess that’s why I am a big foodie today. 🙂

My favorite birthday memory is actually about my husbands birthday! I kept it a secret for almost 5 months. And the day before his birthday, I surprised him with a skydiving adventure for the next day!
Last year my husband took me out for a day on the town. It had been a long time, and it was lovely. And it included Starbucks!

As a child, I always got my favorite cake and had games (although I lost almost every game!) and felt very special. Today, it’s really just another day….but I enjoy the sentiments I get from friends.
My favorite birthday moment was turning 40 and buying a small can of beer at the Local 7-11 as I was very excited to try out my new “Beer Can Chicken” recipe. I was actually carded by the clerk, and he was quite serious. I had him guess my age, and he said 28. I could have almost kissed him! That made turning that milestone older a lot easier…so turning 50 was a piece of cake…and I still do get carded…a “bit” more infrequently!
I’ve had some really fun birthdays in my adult life, sorry I can’t remember a specific favourite! It’s fun to still shake it up and rock and roll with friends like the good ole days! ♪♫ ☺

In fifth grade I had friends over to my house. We dressed up in punk wear and sang Prince.
My husband took me to Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert on my birthday. Even though he got the tickets that day we had the front seats and the concert was amazing!
One of my favourite birthday memories is having dinner with my daughter. She lives about an hour away and I drove to meet her; it was really nice – just the two of us!

My favorite birthday memory is from last year when I had my baby girl just a couple of weeks before my birthday. I spent all day just snuggling with my new baby girl,breathing in that yummy newborn scent. Doesn’t get much better than that!
My birthday is on Christmas so I never get a party. A few years back, we left for my In-laws christmas dinner. I was whining the whole 3 hour drive about how I never get a party. When I walked in the door there, they had a cake, decorations, presents, etc… After that, they cleaned up and had our Christmas dinner.
My best birthday memory was for my b-day about 5 yrs ago. My boyfriend had a nice dinner party for me and surprised me by flying my into town for the event – it was so amazing and thoughtful and a wonderful surprise.
My fave birthday was when my family took me out to the Black Stump restaurant when I was in 3rd grade. Wonderful childhood memories.
I love getting spoil for my birthday. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We would usually have a family dinner and celebrate with family. Then I would also have another celebration with my friends.
The most memorable birthday I’ve ever had was my 28th… the day I got married! While I don’t recommend getting married on your birthday, it does make that particular day even more special. Birthdays have never been quite the same though!

Whilst I was married, my birthdays were pretty much a non-event! That is until my 30th and a friend gave me a surprise party, and invited so many wonderful people. I have had quite a few birthdays since then but that was my most memorable
My favorite birthday memory was when my, now husband, then boyfriend, made sure to see me first thing in the morning on my 24th birthday. He got up extra early to go to work, made me breakfast at his parents house, and drove to my parents house to sing to me with an “oat cake” that he made using my favorite recipe, all before his work day. Now that we’re married, my favorite birthday memory is waking up with him and him singing happy birthday to me while we’re both half asleep 🙂

Best birthday was definitely my 16, have some great memories from that night!
I would say my my 30th birthday, the people at work had gits, cake and lunch for me. Then when I got home my family and friends were there and mt husband surprised me with a trip to Vegas and we left the next day.
I have a great birthday memory as a teenager. My now-husband and I both have birthdays in November. My birthday was filled with excitement as we planned our wedding. We married eight days later…in between our two birthdays.
My favorite birthday memory started when I went off to college because those birthdays reminded me how much I miss home but also allow me freedom that I never had before
My favorite birthday was my 20th birthday. I was married 5 days before and was on my honeymoon.
I was turning 30 and the guy I was dating rented a limo to take a group of us to the UW football game. Then he took me to a bar/restaurant where all of my family was waiting for a surprise party. I had NO idea. He was such a sweetheart and I was so touched he had gone to so much preparation for me. He always brought me flowers too and did that day too. Sigh….

My favorite birthday memory is that I had an aunt that would always make a Barbie birthday cake. It was really cool because there was a Barbie in the middle of the cake and the cake part was a big ball gown surrounding Barbie from the waist down.

Don’t have a favorite birthday memory, although I did have a large kids’ party when I was about 7. I’m just thankful for each birthday I can celebrate because my life has been very blessed.
My favorite memory was in early grade school, my dad had been building a dog house. He had been telling me that it was where I would go when I was bad. When I came home from school on my birthday, he told me to look in the dog house. Out came the cutest puppy I ever seen!
My favorite birthday memory is the year I had 2 Baskin & Robbins ice cream cakes and went shopping. That was so much fun. My Mom had just gotten her income tax so my birthday was great!
We never had birthday parties as children in my family, but I do remember going to a neighbor girl’s party. The balloon I burst during the game was a winner. I won a box of 64 crayons! I felt like it was my party then.(This is the easly1970’s) I had never had a box of colors so big since I was from a poor farmer’s family with six children. I have never forgotten that party after all these years and how happy I was.
I have old photos of my birthday when I was about 10. I had my teddy bears and best friends there and everyone looked so happy. I look at that pic a lot and that’s my fav birthday.
