How many of you love books? What about coffee? I love both books and coffee although I had to give up coffee due to my blood pressure being so out of control. That is why any time I hear about a company that combines those two things I jump at them. Blue Spider Attic Box is one such company. First though I have to tell you how wonderful this company has been to me.
They agreed to work with me back in the late summer and sent me a box. However as you all know my youngest son got sick over and we spent many weeks in the hospital and dealing with his illness. Because of that a handful of reviews ended up being left undone until we managed to get to a place where I could work again. We have finally gotten to that place. It has been a long road and one that we are still on but now with a diagnoses we are able to tackle this thing head on. Blue Spider’s Attic Box has been so supportive this entire time. I feel so awful that my work lagged as much as it did because we were just overwhelmed with hospital stays, therapy, and everything else. I will tell you that there are few companies or brands that would stand behind someone as they went through this.

If you have an avid reader on your holiday list then Blue Spider’s Attic Box is the way to go! It is mixture of secondhand vintage and more contemporary paperback novels along with full-pot samples of coffee (or you can opt for hot tea) as well as often handmade themed goodies. (often handmade). There is so much to love about this box so lets just right in and show you the unboxing video:
Tell me that you didn’t love that paper as much as I did! I can’t even begin to to describe the paper other than it is like old newspaper but a little stronger. You know what i mean? Newspaper tears really easily and this doesn’t.
It was a bag that is like old newspaper. I saved these because I loved them so much. I swear I will reuse them for something, I just don’t know what yet.
I received three books that I had never read before so I knew that I would be happy. These three books that I happened to have tossed into my diaper bag got me through the first few weeks at the hospital. As my baby lay sleeping I read and it kept my mind busy enough to not worry about all of the what-ifs or mind-ofs. Each books had that wonderful old book smell that I love.
I don’t drink coffee anymore but I can tell you that I did splurge and drink this. I took a few moments and just sat by myself enough that rich butterscotch taste. It was like having dessert in a cup. I haven’t enjoyed coffee more in my life.
This pretty aromatherapy necklace was in the box as well. It was something that Ma enjoyed so I gave it to her. She is still wearing it and loving it.
Now this was right up my alley! A teabag (Earl Grey happens to be one of my favorites) and a beautiful tea spoon. I love using it in the mornings. I put a little sugar in my tea and this spoon is perfect. It’s a perfect little treat just for me.
Who doesn’t love bubble bath? Me actually! I’m not a big fan of the stuff but Ma loves it. The smell of this was wonderful, like I said I’m just not a fan of bubble bath in general.
There were a few little extras like a bookmark and business cards. That larger item is a post card that was interesting. All in all Blue Spider’s Attic Box is worth taking a look at. This book lover adores it!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
