Another triumphant book! I am so pleased to have had the chance to read all of these books by Callie Grant. This books if for ages 0-5 and is a board book. This book is the circle of life that a seed takes. It tells of how the winter comes and God gives Little Seed everything it needs to not only survive but to thrive the conditions of the harsh winter. I love the bright vivid colors of this book and the wonderful lesson that it teaches.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

It’s nice to see some good children’s books that help to convey biblical truth. It’s good to have a balance of fun, non-Christian children’s books, like Eric Carle books, and some that are helpful for retelling Bible stories in creative ways. Thank you for sharing!

This sounds like a beautiful book. My girls are both fascinated with nature and would love it just to learn about the seed’s life cycle alone! I agree with the previous commenter, though, about exposing children to all sorts of books. I don’t personally like religious books that are very heavy handed. This one sounds nice and gentle.

So nice to see children’s books that introduce faith. We don’t have children yet but this would be a wonderful book I could see introducing to our child someday.
Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I think it would be great to get together and have a group of moms sharing books like these. Sometimes the library doesn’t carry something like this and kids learn so much from them at that crucial building faith age.

This sounds like another great book. I think this would be perfect for helping to explain the death of a family member to a younger child. I think this author really has a great feel for how to explain religious things to children.

Another great book for kids that would make a great Easter gift or a gift from a God parent. Books have always been big for this in our family but there are not many around for kids. Thanks again Rita for bringing this one to us!
