I just realized something this morning when I was talking about the weather that it is now boot and I got a couple of really great women’s ankle boots that I think will look great with a couple of my outfits this year. In fact I think I am going to wear some for Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping. I never know what to wear because we don’t really dress up for dinner. I mean we don’t wear sweats but jeans and tee are always okay. This year though I know that I want to wear legging to not only be comfortable but a little stylish.
Not to mention when I go out shopping later that night I will be warm and my feet won’t hurt so much. Of course it is the season for all sorts of boots and Wikipedia has that boot assortment explained down pat for you! The ones that I will be wearing shopping have some fur on the inside to keep my feet warm and I don’t have to wear socks with them. They are so wonderful and I love with the weather turns cold enough for me to wear them. Although this is the first time I will have worn them with leggings as I usually I pair them with jeans. I am all for anything that keeps my feet warm because they are always cold.

I know that I am going to be shopping for some Women’s Timberland Boots those weekend because I actually need a pair of those plus I think that Ma does as well. I like those for hiking better than I do any others because they allow my ankle to swell without making it feel constricted. They are perfect for stomping around through the woods in both the summer and winter months. Plus anytime I need to do any sort of heavy work (like ripping out a wall cause I swear I’m gonna do that soon) they can handle it.
What are your favorite types of boots?
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I like wearing boots, but unless they are certain brands they arent comfy. If I have a pair that is broken in and NO heel those I can wear. We get enough snow here, boots arent much for fashion but for warmth and they have to have good tread!

I know what you mean! I am actually hunting for the perfect pair of snow boots for when we head to the mountains next year.

I love boot weather! I just bought two pair of booties on Amazon last weekend. Not that I NEEDED more boots but I wanted them. One pair is fringed and the other is decorated with little fabric roses around the top. They were too cute to resist 🙂 Tmberland makes great boots. My fiance’ has a couple of pair.

I don’t have any fringe boots but I have looked at a few pairs of those. I really need to pull out all of my boots and get them aired out and ready.

Boots are really important here in Maine, and of course, we all have our “Bean Boots,” those rubber-soled beauties with the leather tops invented by the original L.L. Bean. My favorite Bean Boots are lined knee-high lace-ups, perfect for wearing in the snow. I’ve also got a couple of pairs of regular ankle boots, too, and even a pair of slip-ons for just going up to the mailbox. And my rainboots are good year-round. P.S. I can’t imagine wearing boots without socks!
Rita says
My feet sweat so bad when I wear them with boots that have fur in there. I haven’t tried any of L.L Bean’s boots but I will certainly give them a look. I can just imagine how much you need them in Maine. I’m jealous just so you know because I really miss snow.

I love boots. I especially love boots I can just slip into and be comfortable in. I have a pair of hunter boots that I adore, but my favorite boots are my BearPaw boots- they are super soft with a thick sole so I don’t slip and fall in the slick sleet and snow.

I used to love wearing boots. But I’ve gained weight and it’s hard to find really cute boots that are wide width.

I have to agree this is boot weather! We are in the process of moving scrap metal and I could use some nice boots to keep my toes warm. It’s hard to find boots that fit and are comfy though.

I love boots—tall and short! Boots are one of my favorite things about Fall’s cooler weather—the boots and the sweaters.

I love boots! They are so comfortable & so easy to just slip on! Short boots are my favorite. Boots, sweaters, and hot drinks by the fireplace are what I really love about the cold weather!
