The Bouqs Flowers from the Volcano

My mom loves getting flowers! I mean what woman wouldn’t. I live sending them to her as well. There is something about the joy in face that I love seeing. The Bouqs is a company that offers flowers but different from most companies.

The Bouqs flowers come from South America straight from the side of an active volcano. They were shipped to us via cold storage and kept at 4 degrees which puts them into a “sleep.” The cold storage is only ended on the last leg of their journey (when FED-EX gets them) which why someone needs to be home to receive the flowers. They do offer some from California which are cut and then overnighted to you. Again someone needs to be there but you can’t get any fresher. One thing I love is that flowers aren’t cut until they are ready to ship to you so thy are as fresh as possible.

The Bouqs

Mom received a bouquet called Confetti which were a dozen colorful roses. They look so beautiful and smell just as great. They arrived in a box, wrapped up. You cut away the wrapping and then cut the stems. Place them in a vase and enjoy their beauty. Mom received these about two weeks ago and try just starting to die but she has enjoyed every single second of them.

Confetti

As you can see these are simply beautiful flowers and ones that I know any woman would love to receive for just about any occasion or maybe even just because. There is nothing more joyous than receiving flowers for no reason.

I have received roses which seemed to last forever, compared to most. It’s always such a treat when this happens! I had never heard of these flowers grown on the side of a volcano before, that’s pretty neat! They look lovely.

So wait, that picture is from 2 weeks after they arrived? It doesn’t even look like most of them are open yet? If so, that’s pretty amazing. I am curious, though, does coming from the side of a volcano really mean anything? Like does that make them last longer or bloom larger, etc.?

I am not sure if it makes they last longer. No that picture is from the day they arrived.

Wow these flowers are beautiful! The colors are so vivid. It must be something about the soil being volcanic rich. I would love to revive a bouquet from them.

Very cool where they come from. And they are so pretty. Having flowers in the house always sets my mood into happy mode. I love waking up and seeing them, a great start for my day. And they can make any room gorgeous.
