July 19th is National Ice Cream day and we have gotten ready for it thanks in part to the amazing people over at BOWLZ. They were wonderful enough to send us two of their new bowls to check out. Let me tell you they are simply the best!
We received two BOWLZ and I must say that the mint is my favorite color of the two. The bowls are 16 oz. which is more than big enough for a bowl of ice cream. In fact, in the pictures below I may have put more than I normally would into a bowl.
So what makes BOWLZ so special? Well, the ice cream don’t melt. At least not as quickly or as much as with a regular bowl. You put your ice cream into the BOWLZ and then push it down a little bit. What 15 seconds and your ice cream become colder and stick to the bottom.
As you can see the ice cream did begin to melt on the top a little bit but that was after being outside for more than a few minutes.
The real question was would the ice cream stay inside the bowl? I tipped it a little and it didn’t move at all. You can actually see it better in the video. The melted bit on top did run downward but the bottom was still cold. I took a big bite from the very bottom of the bowl and it was as cold as if I have pulled it out of the freezer.
Take a moment to watch my video so you can see BOWLZ in action. I know I say it a few times in the video but it was so hot outside and the ice cream didn’t melt right away. I did put it in a cold bag until I was ready for it.
I love BOWLZ! I do, they were so amazing and I couldn’t believe how well they work. They are one kitchen item I will be buying more of so I have a full set.
Make sure you head over and sign up for their emails because anyone on their list will be the first to know about prizes and discounts.
