You read that correctly! While I am not a huge drinker I do enjoy a glass of wine from time to time and when you throw in some chocolate…. Well your speaking my language. BROOKSIDE and Clos du Bois bothknow just how to talk to me!
There is this place here in Anderson where you can paint pictures, drink wine, and generally enjoy yourself. I knew that it was the perfect place for a tasting. I will share with you my brother’s artwork as well cause his is so great (the dog!!) Let me tell you that transporting those from my home to here was NOT easy! I wanted to sample away.
If you are new to BROOKSIDE Chocolate it is a rich, dark chocolate with sweetened soft centers made with exotic fruit flavors. While Clos du Bois began with a vision of blending fine French winemaking techniques with the best Sonoma grapes to craft a range of balanced, approachable wines. I am new to the wine but have had BROOSKIDE in the past.
I stuck with the basic pairing of the Clos du Bois Pinot Noir and BROOKSIDE Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Flavor which was not bad at all. I loved the way the flavors burst across my tongue. However my favorite pairing was the Clos du Bois Merlot and BROOKSIDE Dark Chocolate Acai & Blueberry Flavors. OMG that was the best thing we have ever had and I can’t begin to tell you how much we loved them. The blueberry flavor was so amazing.
