You read my title correctly, Build A Bear Workshop is bringing the Smurfs! I admit that I have not seen the first Smurfs movie so I will have to watch it before I watch the second. Build A Bear however is something I am familiar with. I remember the very first time I went, it seemed so magical. Kids loving being able to make their stuffed animals! It makes them feel so important.
We were lucky enough to receive to Smurfs from Build A Bear, both of which are fabulous but there was a fight over who got which one. It was finally settled by putting their names in a hat and drawing for them. this is what happens when you get items that everyone wants, even my mother wanted to have one. So guess who will be making a trip to Build A Bear!
Mischievous Vexy is great! I love that she is the punk-rocker Smurf. She comes with her black boots and blue/black skirt. It is very cute and her little blue freckles really makes her all the better as does her blue streak in her hair!
Sweet Smurfette was my favorite Smurf when I was growing up. I mean lets face it she was the only girl Smurf at the time. I love her little dress, it is simply beautiful with its little rhinestones.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

My oldest daughter has a collection of The Smurfs memorabilia. She loved them as a child and still today and so does her girls. Smurfette was my favorite also

Hahaha–I have a special fondness for the Smurfs. My late husband’s name (my first married name) and my son’s name is “Murph”–not Murphy with a “y”–it’s German “Murph” not Irish) Want to guess how often we heard “Murph the Smurf”?

These are so cute. I loved the Smurfs when I was younger. They never really go out of style I guess. My daughter really wants to go see the new Smurf movie also. I hope she doesn’t find out about these at Build a Bear or I will be making a trip so myself. 🙂

I have fond memories of watching the Smurfs as a family as my son was growing up. It was one show we all enjoyed as a family and came on at a time when we could watch. I have never been to Build A Bear, not a part of our budget, but I just love the Sweet Smurfette doll!

I grew up watching the Smurfs. How cute that a new generation can also appreciate the Smurfs as well. I feel like waking up tomorrow morning, Saturday, and fixing a huge bowl of cereal and watching the Smurfs. Those were the days.
