The Boxtrolls! is from the Coraline and Paranorman and tells the story of Eggs, an orphaned human boy lovingly raised by a community of quirky, mischievous creatures who live in a cavernous home beneath the streets of Cheesebridge. When the town’s village decides to come up with a plan to get rid of The Boxtrolls, Eggs ventures into the light, going above ground where he meets and teams up with Winnifred and together they come up with a plan to save Eggs’ family. We are counting down the days til September 26th when the movie premieres!
So we have begun making our Boxtroll who will be called Mace because that is the box we have. Don’t ask! I get a million boxes a week here but somehow they rarely have a name written on the side like we wanted and needed. The head part is actually a toy that we have so are his arms. This has been lying around and we thought it would work best. As you can see we have all of supplies assembled and are working on the best way to make Mace look fabulous! Stay tuned because on Tuesday we will be revealing Mace in all his glory! Guess what you can make a Boxtroll as well and even enter to win a trip to the L.A Premiere of the movie.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I really love the animation of this movie. It kind of reminds me of nightmare before Christmas movie. Very cute movie. Funny too. My kids would love to see this.
