At least that is how the schedule for this week looks and feels. Ma is having eye surgery this morning and while it is a fairly simple one she is nervous. That means taking her to the surgery center and then I have to be on the premises the entire time. It also means she won’t be able to see well once she is done and we get her home.
It also means that the family has come in to be here. I told them they didn’t have to be but this is actually the first surgery Ma has had in a long time and I guess they all will fell better knowing they are on hand, While I am ready to pull my hair out. I spent all day yesterday cleaning and getting the house ready. Tomorrow I have a doctor’s appointment, my uncle has an appointment (luckily in the same building) and Ma has to go back to the surgery center for them to check things.
So Many Appointments
Normally tomorrow would be grocery and bill day but that will have to be put off until the day after and then there are more appointments this week. I also have to put drops in Ma’s eye four times a day and I hate to say it but she is a big baby when she is sick. She really is. She is the worst sick person.
I already have to stand over her while she takes her meds because she will hide them and not take them. If she has to rest, she refuses. Once she had to be on crutches for two weeks and refused so her ankle didn’t heal the right way. It still gives her trouble.
Scheduled
All of that being said, I am letting y’all know because while I will be checking in, most things for this week have been scheduled. Giveaways that end this week will be handled over the weekend or on Monday. Don’t worry the newsletter still went out in time. I will of course be working at night after everyone has gone to bed as well as checking emails throughout the day.
I always like to let y’all know when I am going to be working different hours because I never want a reader to think I am ignoring them when they email me. I know those who message me on Facebook think that. I am horrible about remembering to check my Facebook messages and comments. I am just not on there as much and forget about them.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
