Okay you all have seen this sort of hat in the past. Chances are you most likely made fun of someone wearing a hat like this at least once. I do it to my brother every single time that he wears his and my daddy had a very special name for a hat this that I can’t share. However after having experienced one of these beauties for myself I can see what all the fuss is about.
They are WARM!! While it doesn’t get overly cold here int he South I do travel from time to time and can see where this Callanan Puff Trooper Hat will come in handy. First a bit about the brand:
About Callanan established in 1987 and joined Dorfman Pacific several years later John Callanan has designed hat collections for the last 18 years; his label is one premier high end brands for this leading hat company that boasts more than 20 brands within its portfolio.
These hats have become very popular in recent years and you see them all over the place. They are very stylish and as I said keep my head warm. The only issue I have is that my hair goes into the hat looking fabulous but comes out looking a little fabulous but hey that’s alright!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

My 15-year old son has a hat like this but with fur. He wore it today to school – we live up north and it was below zero today. He could care less what he looks like – he just wants to be warm.

I’m sure he was warm. Guys don’t really care how they look in anything and to be honest if I was living up there where you do I most likely wouldn’t care either.

Do you really? I have found that I love mine I just wish my hair did as much.
