Calm Before the Storm + It’s a Great Day for Pi Giveaway Hop

March is the beginning of a busy time for me. With spring coming it means that there are projects that I need to either get started on or figure out if they are going to be something that I am even going to bother with them. It also means spring cleaning and going through everything in the house. That sounds like such a huge amount of work and it is but I love March. I love that the weather is beginning to change and we don’t have to use the heat as often. I love that I get to bring you a giveaway hosted by MamatheFox too.

One of the things I love doing during the first couple of days of March is taking a little time to rest and relax. I visit the Starbucks in town and just have a treat. One that I only get a couple of times a year. I don’t really drink coffee anymore at all but a couple of times a year I allow myself to head into town by myself and have a treat. I get a coffee or a refresher depending on my mood, maybe head to the big library there, and then over to the River Walk and just enjoy the day. It helps me center myself and get ready for the month ahead. It also makes my March be so much better than it would be if I was just flying by the seat of my pants.

  17. I love March as it is the onset of spring and I love spring when I can start planting my garden.

  39. The best thing about March is that it brings warmer weather. We might get another snow in March but you know Winter is on its way out. You might even see a flower or two pop up, lol.

  41. I love that temps usually start getting a bit warmer in March, and you start hearing the birds again. I’m a winter ‘hibernator’, so to me March is the end of staying inside. Something inside draws me out of my cave, so to speak and ready to face the world again.

  47. I love that March is my child’s spring break! Their last one as they graduate in May from college. We gotta make this one last!

  59. My favorite things about March is my anniversary is on St. Patrick’s day which will be 26 years soon! Two of my kids, my mom and both of my hubby’s parents all have March birthdays. It’s going to be an expensive month it looks like lol.

  66. I like things starting to turn green. Mostly March is a sad month for me. My sister’s birthday is the 14th. She passed March 26, 1999. She had just turned 30. I always sent my mom flowers to honor my sister but my mom passed May 31, 2018. So this is a very emotional month for me.

  78. In March the weather gets warmer as well as the time changes so I start spending more time outside. My husband and I start walking daily and I begin my gardening. I love this time of year!

  82. The earth waking up, flowers and trees blooming and budding and of course St, Patricks Day, my birthday and then youngest daughters birthday.

  84. I love that Daylight Savings time starts in March. I love that it’s not dark so early!

  86. I love celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in March, and I also love that my kids have Spring Break.
