It’s the time of year when people are heading out and camping. I have never really done much camping in the past but this year we decided we would take the kids. Since we live within a state park we figured this would be the way to go. When I started looking for camping gear I found that most of it really geared toward men. There really isn’t much in the way of stylish women gear. just to prove I am right, next time you are in a store that has camping gear check it out. You will find that all of the gear is blue, black, brown. Very male colors! That’s when I discovered CamPink! I was super excited to find them because all of their gear is, you guessed it— Pink! I knew Victoria would be thrilled.

CamPink sent me two items to review and try out. First up was their Flantern but don’t let the size of this fool you. It is small enough to carry light a flash light but the led light in it is powerful enough to light up a closet (see pic.) It does take 3 AA batteries that aren’t included but we were able to use the Flantern on one set of batteries the entire trip. What does that mean–it means that every single time one of my kids heard a noise and my husband had to get up and check out what it was we didn’t wear out the batteries.

The other item we received was a Lounge Chair. This chair is great! not only do I really love the color but I love the pillow and foot rest that it has too. The drink holder is handy not only for your drink but I put my cell phone in there when I didn’t have my drink in it. Victoria thought it was fabulous, so much so she wanted to sleep in it. This chair is great not just for camping but also for the beach, your kids sports games, the backyard and so many other events. It folds up completely and comes in it’s very own carrying bag that you can carry on your shoulder. It is lightweight but durable. The only thing I didn’t like was that you can lower the foot rest but it doesn’t come off. It just lays on the ground and I tripped over it. If the foot rest came off completely that would be an added bonus.
